Products I Finished - (NOVEMBER) Empties

4:13:00 AM

I started this Empties project on October of last year, so it's been over a year now, and looking back to my old Empties post I realized that I have finished a LOT of products during the whole year! I never thought that I'd be finishing a lot of products because I tend to hoard them and it used to be soooo many products on my stash that were half-empty or half-full (which I never finished).

The Empties project was a way to discipline myself to start finishing all those half-empty and half-full products in order to reduce the amount of products in my stash and make some room for new ones. I can't believe I finally able to finish a lot of products that's been hanging around forever in my room.

Next month, at the end of the year I will make a grand total of how many products that I was able to finished and got rid of during a little over a year. Meanwhile, here's my November Empties :

There were only several products that I was able to finished by end of last month, but I'm quite satisfied with the quantities although some of them are travel sizes. I was sleeping over at my new place (which is still 90% in progress) for a couple of weeks last month, so I brought a lot of travel size items with me.

One of the items that I finished while I'm staying over is the Shaw Treatment Jet Set Swahili Coast Travel Set [reviewed here] which consists of four products: Volumizing Shampoo + Conditioner, Face & Body Cleanser, and Body Lotion. Overall these are pretty good with a coconut-y / island scent in a subtle aroma. I was happy to finally finished this Shaw Treatment set because I had this set for so long!
- Recommended? Probably. This is an okay product.
- Repurchase? No. Other than it's not available here I also still have many travel set products in my stash. To replace this set I bring out the Cath Kidston Wild Rose Mini Shower Gel + Body Lotion from my stash as my new travel bath sets.

Speaking of body products, I also finished two body care products last month which is a body lotion and a body mist. I used to have a few opened bottles of body mist on my stash, but thanks to this Empties project I now only have one open bottle left which I finally finished last month! It's the Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction Fragrance Mist. As I mentioned many times on this blog, this newer version of Pure Seduction scent by VS is not really my favorite. I still love the older version of Pure Seduction compared to this one, but don't get me wrong, this newer version is still a lovely scent but it's just too sickly sweet for my liking.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? Of course! I already have another VS Fragrance Mist in my stash (in Love Spell).
I used to collect and only uses Victoria's Secret body mist but now I have ventured to other brands as well. Now I'm using Bath & Body Works Frosted Snowberry Fragrance Mist (which is already on my Favorites list).

Last month I was also able to finally finished a body lotion, yay! Body lotions are products that I had a bit of a hard time finishing, because I don't use them diligently, yet I have so many of them at the moment because I love buying them. I have a shopping problem, I know. I kept on buying stuffs that I knew I would not use very often (*slapface*).

Anyway, this Bodycology Fresh Waters Body Cream is one that I had opened for so long. Hubby picked the scent for me as I was confused on which scent should I bought. Actually I'm not really fond of the scent but it's not an awful scent, it's just okay for my taste. I only agreed because hubby asked me to get this one. Fresh Waters is kind of a clean scent. Not sweet, not fruity, but just a fresh clean scent to my nose. So if you don't like a complicated scent then this one is for you.
- Recommended? Yes, for those with dry skin because it has thick formula.
- Repurchase? No, not for my skin type. I also still have my big bottle of Udderly Smooth Moisturizing Lotion to finish.

Now on to face products.
I finished a few skincare and makeup products last month which were standing for too long on my vanity. First out was the Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream in shade No.23 [reviewed here]. I had this for sooooo loooong... This was actually one of my first BB Cream back then. I knew I probably shouldn't use this anymore because it's a really old product and might have passed it's expiry time, but the formula was still good so I kept using it until it's empty. That's because I like this BB Cream and it's one of my go-to BB Cream when I'm in a hurry and had no time to think of which products I'm gonna wear on my face. The shade was also great for me and it kinda helps keep the oil at bay.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? Maybe in the futurebecause I still have many BB Creams on my stash. Right now I'm replacing this with TonyMoly Expert Triple BB Cream and Lollipops Absinthe BB Cream which was sent to me recently.

I am so glad that I finally finished my Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque which was standing in my bathroom for too long! You know how it was a very hyped item back then, right? Well I bought it out of curiosity, but after finding out that it kinda did nothing really special for my complexion I stopped using it and move to another face mask instead. But a few months ago I started to use it again because I got bored seeing it in my bathroom so I tried really hard to finish this one off. This tube has a lot of products in it which took me a long time to finish it.
- Recommended? Not sure.
- Repurchase? NopeTo replace this mask I'm currently using Skin Food Black Sugar Wash-Off Mask.

A teeny tiny product that I finally finished is the Sampar Glamour Shot Eyes. I kinda like the tiny-but-practical pink tube of this product. I used this mainly to disguise my heavy eye bags and dark circles due to my sleeping problem. This product would reduce the heavy appearance. I also like the doe foot applicator which makes it easier to apply the product underneath my eyes without having to put too much pressure on that delicate area with my fingers.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? Probably not, because it's expensive. I haven't got a new product to replace this with, I'm still currently trying to finish my Garnier Light Brightening Eye Roll-On for now.

I also finished a small-sized face moisturizer from L'oreal which I brought with me during my stay-over. I finished this little tube in just several days because there wasn't a lot of products in it. For me, this L'Oreal White Perfect Laser Day Cream is nothing special. It's a thick lotion which I think is just another ordinary moisturizer.
- Recommended? Not really.
- Repurchase? Nope. Right now for my stay-over I'm using the Skin Food Omija Whitening Emulsion [mentioned here] which is part of a mini sample set.

Another small size product that I finished was a little pot of Erzulie Cosmetics Mineral Skin Brightener and Perfecter in Goddess Glow [reviewed here]. I recently found this on a corner of my drawer and I totally forgot about this product which I used to wear quite often back in the day. This was an all-over face brightener, more like a modern day illuminator. I was sent this product from an American-based mineral makeup brand called Erzulie Cosmetics, along with other products. This skin brightener was a favorite product, but unfortunately it was shoved down to the end of the drawer which makes it invisible to my eyes, therefore I forgot about it after a while. This is why I want to keep continuing making this Empties post, because I don't want to forget about my fave products just because I have an overwhelming stash. Anyway, when I found this little pot, it was unusable anymore, so I guess it's time to throw it away.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? It's not available in my country. I am now using the Philosophy Amazing Grace Shimmering Face Powder [mentioned here] as my all-over face highlighter.

The same thing also happens to my Clinique Super City Block with SPF 40. I had this for the longest time but only used it a few times and then totally forgot about it because I was overwhelmed with other products. I'm always lazy when it comes to putting on sunscreen. I know sunscreen is important and thanks to my laziness in applying them I now have sun spots on my face (which I hate!). But even then, I still keep forgetting to use a sunscreen everyday. While I always have a sunscreen on my vanity I keep skipping it out, I'm not sure why, I just never remember to put on sunscreen. So this sunblock is another product that have to go straight to the bin because it was way over it's expiry date and it was unusable anymore :( Luckily I only bought the travel size.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? Maybe in the future. I'm now trying to remember to using Clarins UV+ HP11 SPF 40 Teint.

I rarely use facial cleansing wipes nowadays, especially since I found Bioderma H20 Micellar Water. But I still buy cleansing wipes for those days that I don't use a lot of makeup and too lazy to clean it properly. I also love to bring cleansing wipes when I'm traveling because my Bioderma bottle is too big for traveling. I also already have my Shu Uemura Fresh Pore Clarifying Cleansing Oil in my apartment bathroom so I only need these wipes to clean the rest of my makeup.

One of the cleansing wipes I brought is the Ponds Oil Control Cleansing Wipes. This only has 10 wipes in it so I finished it pretty quickly. I think this is more suitable for wiping dust and sweat off your face because it was not strong enough to pick up heavy makeup. While the Shikada Facial Cleansing Wipes is one of my go-to cleansing wipes which I repurchase many times, because it's relatively cheap, it's available easily, and it works pretty good too.
- Recommended? Yes.
The Ponds Oil Control Cleansing Wipes is perfect for teenagers of for after the gym.
And the Shikada Facial Cleansing Wipes is perfect for everyday facial cleansing.
- Repurchase? I already repurchase the Shikada one, but I also picked up another cleansing wipes from my stash which is the Jean Pierre Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Pads with Microbeads which I got from my US haul.

I also used some face masks that I got from Hello Care last month. Hello Care sent me six face masks and I have used three of them [reviewed here]. The Hello Care Swallow's Nest Collagen Mask is the most cooling mask from the bunch. It's also quite tingly on my skin but it brightens my complexion as well as making it feel less oily. The Hello Care Snail Collagen Mask is a very soothing and relaxing mask that really calmed my irritation and made my face feels supple. Lastly, the Hello Care Caviar Collagen Mask made my skin well-hydrated even until the morning after.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? Probably yes, but right now I still have three other Hello Care face masks to use, as well as many face masks from other brands.

Last but not least, the samples.
I received these Lancome Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate Serums samples a while ago and I think it's a pretty good serum. It's formula is quite soothing for my skin and it makes my skin felt soft. I'm gonna keep using this as I still got a couple of these samples left. I also got the Kiehls Centella Recovery Skin Salve sample from my visit to Kiehls counter. The BA advised me this range after seeing that my skin was in sensitive phase. I think this Centella range is great for sensitive skin because it really calm my irritated skin and helps bring my skin back to it's normal condition.
- Recommended? Yes for both.
- Repurchase? Maybe in the future.
