ETUDE HOUSE - Aloe Moistfull Skincare Kit

9:07:00 PM

This is actually a super duper late post because I actually received this set last year and I also have finished all of the products many months ago, but I keep on forgetting to make the review. Since I already took the photos and edit them so I thought I'm just gonna go with this super late review.

The reason why I want to still write the review although this is probably a last year range from Etude House is because this is one of my favorite skincare line from Etude House so I want to highlight them in my blog.

First of all, I love getting products in sets or kits because most of the time the packaging is usually cute or unique (and you know I'm weak for special packaging like that), and sets/kit also make it possible to be able to try a few different products or try out the whole set.

I got this Etude House Aloe Moistfull Skincare Kit probably around last year from a giveaway, and the soothing green color on this set instantly excites me and makes me want to try it out immediately. Etude House have several different skincare lines that ranges from oily skin to dry skin, etc - and this Aloe Moistfull is one of them.

The back of the packaging is in Hangeul but there's a bit part of it with English language that pretty much says that this is a moisturizing soothing skin care line containing enriched Baobab Tree extracts and Organic Aloe. It supplies instant moisture to the skin with soothing care.

The Aloe Moistfull line is ideally suitable for those with dry, irritated, or sensitive skin. I normally have combination skin but sometimes I get dry patches here and there, and this Aloe Moistfull set really helps me with that. This range is also not too oily or heavy for my combination skin so I think almost everyone could try and use some products from this range.

There are three travel size products included in this skincare kit. The three products are:
- Aloe Moistfull Soothing Skin
- Aloe Moistfull Soothing Lotion
- Aloe Moistfull Soothing Cream

All the three products are meant to instantly supplies skin with moisture by penetrating deep into the skin. They also helps in retaining moisture within the skin and supposedly would leave the skin feeling refreshed and hydrated.

The Aloe Moistfull Soothing Skin is to be applied first, after cleansing. I can say that this acts as a toner for your face. It has a clear watery formula that's very runny so you might want to skip the cotton pads when using this because the pads would just soaks it up. So what I do is pour a little on my palms and with both of my hands I lightly tapped it into my skin, concentrating to the dry area. It helps soothe and refresh the skin at the same time, as well as preparing it for the next treatment which is the Soothing Lotion.

The Aloe Moistfull Soothing Lotion is a white lotion-y formula that you apply next after the Soothing Skin above. This act as a pre-moisturizer, so you apply this just as you would apply a moisturizer. This sinks in pretty fast and did not leave any residue at all. My skin would already feel soothed and calmed after applying this Soothing Lotion + Soothing Skin above. I usually just used these two in the morning, but when the night comes I usually would add the Soothing Cream right after this Soothing Lotion.

Next is my most favorite product in this kit which is the Aloe Moistfull Soothing Cream. If you want to try only one product from this line, I recommend you try this one. It is a really soothing cream (just what the name says), with a light creamy consistency that has no oily or greasy feel at all. In fact, it felt very soothing and relaxing once it touches your skin. It's like those expensive products that you experienced in a spa. It's THAT relaxing and soothing!

Overall, I really love the Aloe Moistfull line from Etude House, and I think it's suitable enough for my combination skin. I would also recommend this line to those who have dry or irritated skin because this line is very soothing and it has done great things for my dry area. It really help soothe, alleviate, and moisturize the dry and irritated area of my skin.

Based on my lovely and successful first experience with the Aloe Moistfull range above, I then bought another skincare product from the same line which is the Aloe Moistfull Soothing Gel. I was initially looking for the Aloe Moistfull Soothing Cream as it is my favorite product from the kit above, but I couldn't find it at that time. So to replace it I decided to get this Soothing Gel instead because I was out of my morning moisturizer at that time.

This Soothing Gel is a very light moisturizing gel which you can use every day because it is so comfortable for the skin. The formula is a clear gel which feels cooling and soothing on the skin, it's as if you put on cold water on your face. It's very refreshing and I find it very soothing especially when used during hot summer months. This is now my current moisturizer if my skin is getting more dry than oily. I also would recommend this Soothing Gel for those of you who have dry or combination skin, or if you're looking for a soothing gel to use during the hot days.

Now what Etude House skincare line do you use or like?

Happy Holidays, everyone!

  2. Hi Lusyana,

Biasanya urutannya itu yang teksturnya paling cair maka dia paling awal dipakai, jadi semakin kental / thick teksturnya maka semakin akhir dipakainya. Ini berlaku untuk skincare korea dan jepang pada umumnya. Hope this info helps yaa :)
