HELLO CARE Face Mask : Caviar, Swallow's Nest, Snail Collagen

6:54:00 PM

I haven't posted my Weekly Face Mask series for a while now, so I think it's time for a new post. For those who didn't know, I love using face mask especially sheet masks because they are so practical and easy to use. The result is also usually instant.

Recently I got these awesome sheet masks from Hello Care. Hello Care is a brand for premium sheet mask that is very popular in Japan and Korea, and now they are recently available in Indonesia too. Their 3-layers-of-sheet technology help maximize the absorption of essence into the skin. Each of the sheet mask also has lots of essence in it and these masks have been certified by the EEG (European Environment-Friendly Certification) too.

Hello Care sheet mask is quite unique because when you look into their options they have many variety to choose from, and most of their main ingredients are very unique compared to other common sheet masks.

Their options include Placenta mask, Platinum mask, and even a Snake Venom mask! How interesting, right? I love trying out unique things like these :)

So after a hard time choosing, I finally decided to get these six below:
Cactus Mask
Swallow's Nest Mask
Caviar Mask
Makgeolli Mask
Pearl Mask
Snail Mask

Compared to other face mask, each sheet of Hello Care mask has medium thickness but it's also quite fragile because the essence is all soaked-up into the sheet, so you might want to be careful when reaching the sheet from the packaging and also when opening the sheet into a mask (because I ripped a little bit part of it the first time because I was being careless >_< ).

My first experience in using Hello Care mask was very nice and very comfortable to use. The sheet is packed full with essence but nothing really drips off my face when being used. So that's a plus for me. As stated in the packaging, you should leave it on for 20 - 30 minutes (a little bit longer compared to other face masks) but I swear to you the longer time period is what makes these masks really works.

The end result is more visible, maybe because we leave it on for such a long time so the essence really had the time to sink into our skin and does its job properly. I usually use this mask at night when I'm about to sleep and after thoroughly cleaning my face.

After removing the mask there would be some essences left on the skin surface, I just pat the remaining essence into the skin until it got fully absorbed a few minutes later. According to the packaging you can use this mask 2 to 3 times a week.

Now as you can see on my previous photo, I have picked six Hello Care masks out of the many options they have. I chose the ones with the unique ingredients that I'm mostly interested with. I have used three of them for the last three weeks because I usually use sheet mask once a week, so today I'm gonna review those three mask first which are the Snail, the Caviar, and the Swallow's Nest Mask.

Up first is the Intensive Snail Collagen Treatment Mask.
This is the first mask that I tried from the bunch and I chose it because I was feeling under the weather at the time, and my skin took a drastic change following my unwell condition. My face was super dry and even have flaky dry patches here and there. I think it was dehydration. So I took this Snail Collagen mask which has the words "Healing, Nutrition, and Rejuvenating" at the front of the packaging. The "healing" word made me do it ;)

This Intensive Snail Collagen mask is good to maintain skin's health by calming irritation and stress under external environment, providing water and nutrition, keeping skin moisturized and elastic with collagen ingredient.

This particular Snail Collagen one is very soothing and relaxing, especially on top of my irritated and dehydrated skin. This mask really calmed it down and gave a soothing feeling all-over the irritated area. After 30 minutes I took it off and my face felt more moisturized and supple. My skin stays moist even until the day after. I love this one because I feel that this mask really repairs my skin and gave the hydration it needed.

The second mask I used is Intensive Swallow's Nest Collagen Treatment Mask.
This mask is great to soothe tired skin while maintaining your skin to stay moist and resilient through its collagen ingredient that is highly effective in providing moisture and nutrients.

In Asia, there's a popular drink made from swallow's nest which is said to be good for the skin and complexion. I chose this swallow's nest mask on the second week to follow-up with my skin treatment. My skin was still dry on certain areas although it was much better compared to the previous week. The words "Soothing, Nourishing, Moisturizing" are what made me want to try this one's next. My skin was still in need of extra moisturizing and hydrating effect so this Swallow's Nest mask seems like a great match for my skin needs.

This one is probably the most cooling one amongst the other I've tried because it is very soothing and cooling, allowing a relaxing mood. This also feels a bit tingly on the irritated area of my skin but I guess that's just the mask working its magic. The next morning I woke up with a plumped face, and a less oily face too! My skin felt super moisturized and radiant with a healthy glow. Love it.

Next is the Intensive Caviar Collagen Treatment Mask.
Another unique ingredient from Hello Care mask, this Caviar mask is said to have ingredients that gives freshness to the skin, making it moisturized and soft. While the collagen ingredient contained in this mask helps maintain your skin to stay hydrated and elastic.

This one says "Nutrition, Shining, Moisturizing" at the front of the packaging so I picked this one out because I thought my skin needed some nutrition after the previous healing treatment. And I was right to chose this because it really makes my skin really well-hydrated even until the next morning. This one also felt tingly on my skin which I assume was the essence doing its magic. After removing the mask, my skin is super soft and looks supple instantly.

So far, there's no Hello Care mask that I didn't like. I felt like they're really working great for my troubled skin and has helped in the healing process. I will try the rest of the masks which are the Cactus mask, Pearl mask, and Makgeolli (rice ferment extract) mask. Stay tune for more Hello Care!
