Review: Bioderma SENSIBIO H20

11:34:00 PM

If you watch a lot of beauty videos on Youtube like I do, then you must be familiar with the product above which is the Bioderma Sensibio H20. It's that clear bottle with a red cap and a watery solution inside which is so popular amongst the beauty gurus on youtube. They used it for cleaning up makeup and I learned that most of them swore by the efficiency of this french product.

A french product?

Yes, Bioderma is a french brand and it's among the most frequently prescribed laboratories by French dermatologists. They are now available in more than 70 countries and is growing very fast at international level. One of their most popular product is the Sensibio H20 above.

Back to the youtube thing, ever since I saw the hype for Bioderma Sensibio H20 I remember I wanted to try it because it seems so easy and very practical to use. You know I love super practical things, right? So imagine how ecstatic I was when I got contacted by Bioderma who wants to spread the news about their official launching here in Indonesia!

Yep, you got that right. Bioderma is finally will be launching here in Indonesia so that we can get their products easily now. I'm super excited!

Okay, so Bioderma has many ranges of products which would be suitable for different skin types. This is my first time trying on any Bioderma products and I'm so happy that I finally got to try the most-hyped Bioderma Sensibio H20.

The Sensibio range is actually meant for sensitive skin. It offers combination of active ingredients in a range of textures which are adapted to the skin's biology. Well I have combination oily skin and I have no problem at all using this product.

The Sensibio H20 is one of Bioderma innovative products which called a micellar water. The micellar water is the first oil-free, soap-free cleansing system that formulated with pure and natural active ingredients for the skin. According to their website, this formula provides healthy cleansing whilst respecting the skin's natural biological balance.

This is my first time trying micellar water to clean my makeup all at once, and I was amazed by the ability of the micellar water that able to pick up all those heavy makeup layers including thick foundation and waterproof makeup. WOW!

I think I might never use a cleansing milk + toner again after being introduced to Sensibio H20, LOL. It is super practical because all you have to do is just pour the clear watery formula into a cotton pad and swipe it all over your face to pick up the makeup. Do this repeatedly until you lift off all your makeup, or until the cotton pad is clean which means there's no makeup left on your face :)

The formula (as you can see from the clear bottle) is just like plain water. It's watery, it's clear, and it looks and feels just like water.

I found the formula amazing and it really does lift off all my makeup even the most stubborn ones. I also took a test so you can all see how powerful this micellar water is in picking up dirt and makeup. You can see the photos below for reference.

PS: I used my most thick foundation, a waterproof eyeliner in the blackest color, and a matte lipstick which sometimes are hard to be fully removed:

All those makeup:

I put on some Sensibio into cotton pads and swipe it all off:

Sensibio lifted off all those makeup in just a few minutes. I have to scrub the eyeliner a little bit but in the end they're all really gone and my skin is clean again:

Overall, I love Bioderma Sensibio H20 and it does it's job wonderfully. All those hypes are proven, and now I know why all those beauty gurus recommend it for cleaning up makeup. I now use this everyday to clean up my makeup before sleep especially on those lazy days where I'm too lazy to go to the bathroom to wash my face ;p

Aside from the obvious reasons above, I also love the fact that all of Bioderma products contain 100% pure biological active ingredients which are natural for the skin.

Bioderma believes that temporary relief alone is insufficient in treating most skin problems, so in close partnership with dermatologists Bioderma commits to develop products that respond to the needs and demands of their patients, treating every kind of skin, even the most sensitive ones.

Bioderma will launch their products soon here in Indonesia (Jakarta first) and will be available in department stores. The price range is around IDR 150,000 for the medium size (250ml) bottle if I'm not mistaken, but they will have a couple of sizes to choose from.

Bioderma will also launch several of their products range here. Some of them includes: the Sebium for combination and oily skin, the Photoderm for sun protection, Atoderm for dry skin, White Objective for lightening, etc.

So do anticipate their arrival girls... I myself can't wait to stock up and also try their other range especially the Sebium and the White Objective ones.

Meanwhile you can check out their facebook page here to learn more details and keep updated: https://www.facebook.com/BiodermaIndonesia

Now tell me, are you as excited as me for their launch here? ;p
