HELLO CARE Face Mask : Pearl Collagen, Cactus Collagen, Makgeolli (Rice Ferment Extract)

9:40:00 PM

This post is part 2 of my first Hello Care Masks that I posted a while ago. I was sent a couple of facial sheet masks from Hello Care and I split the review into two posts instead. You can check out the first part of the review HERE where I reviewed the Caviar Mask, Swallow's Nest Mask, and Snail Collagen Mask.

Now I only have three more masks to review in this post, which are the Pearl Mask, the Makgeolli Mask, and the Cactus Mask. I deliberately chose the unique ingredients type of masks from the many options that Hello Care offered because I do love trying out unique products and Hello Care Masks has many variety to offer.

So if you like trying out unique ingredients then you should try the Hello Care face masks. Aside from these masks that I've chosen, they also have other masks from Hinoki (Japanese cypress tree), Gold, and the most bizarre: Snake Venom ^o^

Hello Care is a brand for premium sheet mask that is very popular in Japan and Korea. Now you can get them here in Indonesia too. I will link them at the bottom of this post, so meanwhile here's what I think about them:

The Cactus Collagen Treatment Mask is a soothing, cleansing, and moisturizing mask. It's a treatment mask that soothes tired skin that are exposed to environmental damage, while maintaining the skin to keep moist and resilient through its collagen ingredient that's highly effective in providing moisture and nutrients.

This mask felt very moist when I wear it on my face, and it would gradually turns into a more cooling mask after 15 minutes of usage (Note: The recommended wear time is 20 to 30 minutes). It is instantly soothing and moisturizing, and the end result is a complexion that looks refreshed, brighter, and well-hydrated. It also makes my irritated skin felt comfortable and soothed.

The Makgeolli Collagen Treatment Mask is rich with vitamin contents from Aspergillus (rice ferment) extracts that makes your skin smooth through effective skin moisturizing effect. Makgeolli is a Korean native drink which is made from rice and wheat. This Makgeolli mask has a cleansing, shining and moisturizing properties.

This one has the strongest scent amongst all the masks I've tried. The scent is like a fermented scent but it's not too overpowering although you can definitely smell it. The end result after wearing this face mask for half an hour is an instant brighter and glowing skin full with radiance.

The Pearl Collagen Treatment Mask is a brightening, nutritive, and lifting mask with pearl ingredient inside it which helps provide water and nutrition to the skin. In the beauty world, especially in Asia, Pearl is known as a skin brightener. It helps your skin to have a healthy shine, and it also has an all-over brightening effect. Many beauty salons here uses pearl extract as one of facial ingredients (at least in Indonesia we do ;p).

This Pearl Collagen mask is the most subtle amongst all the  six Hello Care masks I tried. It gives luster to the whole complexion and it also seems to give some lovely sheen, highlighting my complexion in all the right places. Definitely great for brightening effect and perfect to be used right before a big event.

Overall, I like all the face masks (true opinion!), and my favorite amongst all six of the Hello Care masks that I've tried are the Pearl Collagen for its brightening properties, and the Snail Collagen for it's soothing and relaxing effect. I actually like all six of them but if you ask me which ones are my most favorites, my answer would be those two. I would easily recommend all these masks to you because they all have great instant effects and I can see the benefits when you use them regularly.

The packaging says that the mask should be used after cleansing, and we should leave it on for 20 - 30 minutes, and use regularly 2 - 3 times a week for maximum result. I also like to pat the remaining essence to my skin after I lift off the mask.

All the Hello Care masks are very comfortable to use, and it also really clings to my face so I can keep doing anything else while wearing the mask. I know you should just relax on your bed while using this mask but sometimes I like to multi-task, so I wear this mask and continue blogging while waiting for the 30 minutes wear time (*jangan ditiru*).

You can get Hello Care face mask through Qoo10 website HERE (Buy 5 Get 1 Free) or if you want to buy them in bulk you can go HERE for a special price for 30 mask sheets.

Meanwhile, don't forget to read the part 1 of this Hello Care mask review for the Caviar, Swallow's Nest, and Snail Collagen face masks.

Happy holidays everyone!
