[Weekly Face Mask] : GUARDIAN Refreshing Kiwi Facial Sheet Mask

4:45:00 PM

I bought this in Guardian a while ago just because it's rather cheap (below IDR 20,000) and because it was colorful on the rack so it caught my eyes. Then I decided to get it and picked up the Kiwi one because I have never tried a face mask made with Kiwi extracts before.

This is also my first time trying on Guardian sheet mask. On the packaging it says that this sheet mask is dermatologically tested. This particular mask would gently peels away impurities and dead  skin cells. It is also enriched with kiwi extracts that helps reduce excess oil and refreshes skin.

The sheet mask inside was rather thick and it has a strong fragrance smell. I don't think I ever used a sheet mask as strongly fragranced as this one before, so I don't really like it because the scent is just too strong. As you know, we used sheet mask by slapping them on to our face, so the strong fragrance became too close to our nose, and that kinda turn me off. It was like an artificial scent too, so it wasn't pleasant at all. Infact it felt like wearing perfume on my face :(

Anyway, regarding the formula, it has many essence on the sheet so it felt comforting and hydrating on the skin. There were also lotsa essence left in the packaging which you can use for extra essence by patting it on your face or use as lotion for your arms. I experienced a hot tingly sensation for the first few minutes but I think that's just the mask working itself on my skin ;)

Though it was drenched in moisture but the sheet mask did not drip when worn on the face, and this is the most important part for me because I hate dripping sheet mask more than I hate overly fragranced sheet mask. So I cannot stand dripping masks (!) but luckily this one did not drip and actually fit quite comfortably on my face.

The after result was like usual : smoother and slightly brighter face, as well as plumped up skin. My skin absorbed the essence fully and it made me feel refreshed. My face also felt hydrated and I didn't feel the need to add more moisture afterwards for the rest of the night.

Overall, I like the bright and colorful packaging of these Guardian sheet masks but I hate the strong artificial smell. However I do like the fact that it didn't drip and how the essence was easily absorbed by my skin and keeping it hydrated and plumped.

So have you tried any Guardian sheet masks yet ?
