Products I Finished - (SEPTEMBER Empties)

3:22:00 AM

Better late than never, so here we go...
My annual monthly post for "Products I finished" a.k.a Empties during last month (September).

I was surprised to find quite a lot of products in my Empties bin last month. Although most of them are sample sizes or miniature travel sizes but I'm still satisfied with it.

I have accumulated a lot of sample/travel size products from the beauty boxes lately so you might see a lot of sample/travel size items in my future Empties post just like this one ;)

 Products I finished on September:
Starting from top row, from left to right:
Miranda Multi-Vitamin & Nutrients For Hair ( 6 Capsules)
Maybelline Baby Lips in Anti-Oxidant Berry
EOS Lip Balm in Summer Fruit
Makarizo Advisor Hair Repair
The Body Shop Neroli Jasmin Body Mist
Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser for Normal to Oily Skin
L'Oreal Youth Code Pre-Essence (sachet)
Sampar Vivid Radiance Serum (x2)
Skin Aqua  UV Whitening Milk for Face & Body (travel size)
Sisley Phyto-Blanc Lightening Toning Lotion with Botanical Extracts (travel size)
Juara Rice Facial Cleanser (sachet)
Juara Sweet Black Tea & Rice Facial Moisturizer (sachet)
Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream (sachet)
Bee Balm All-Natural Balm
Egyptian Magic Cream (sachet)

As you can see from the above list there are a lot of sample/travel sizes included, most of these are from the beauty box subscriptions. I love trying out new things, and this Empties post help me to list out all those products that I've tried, whether it work for my skin or not, and whether I would re-purchase them in the future based on my experience.

Now let's see them one by one, shall we? As usual, I divided them in categories just to make it easier to read:

SKINCARE:

- Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Cleanser for Normal to Oily Skin
This is by far my most trusted holy grail facial wash everrrr...!! I have combination oily skin and I've been using this facial wash for years now. I change my facial wash several times during the years but I always come back to this one. Especially whenever my face is having a break-out I would use this facial wash which would make my skin back to it's normal condition again. Definitely one of my forever staple.
- Recommended? Yes for those with oily / acne-prone / combi-oily skin.
- Repurchase? Definitely. I already have one in my stash ;)

- Sisley Phyto-Blanc Lightening Toning Lotion with Botanical Extracts (REVIEWED HERE)
This is a travel size toner which lasted me for a few months because I only bring this if I'm traveling. The formula is very runny and looks just like water. It contains White Mulberry, Scutellaria extracts, Lemon extract, Essential Oils of Lavender and Marjoram to purify and refresh the skin, and also Jioh extract to moisturize. I use this mainly before putting on makeup and after cleansing, to prep my face for makeup. I don't really see the lightening effect even after I used up all the product but I do notice a fresh and toned skin after every usage.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? Maybe not for me, I don't think it's for my skin.

- Skin Aqua UV Whitening Milk for Face & Body
This is also in travel size and this one contains SPF 20 PA++. The ingredients include improved Hyaluronic Acid (AcHA) for moisturizing effect and Arbutin as whitening agent. This is simply a UV protection / sunblock that doubles up as moisturizer. I love using this as my daily moisturizer because then I don't have to add another layer of sunblock because it's all included in this little bottle. The formula is not sticky at all and it does moisturize my face very well while protecting it from UV rays.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? Yes, probably.

- Sampar Vivid Radiance Serum (x2)
I finished two sample tubes of this Sampar Vivid Radiance Serum this time. I got several of these mini tubes from their PR rep and I also finished another tube of this on August. My opinion remains the same. You can read about it on my previous Empties post or you can read the full review HERE.

- L'Oreal Youth Code Pre-Essence (sachet)
It's a rejuvenating pre-essence that we use after cleaning our face and before we put on serum or moisturizer. This pre-essence is created with pro-gen technology that said to help improve skin regeneration for a younger looking skin. It is also said that we would feel the difference starting from the first use. Well, my first impression is: it makes my face instantly moist and firm. I can feel that it re-hydrates my skin and it also felt comfortable on the skin.
- Recommended? Not sure because I only got a couple of uses out of the sachet.
- Repurchase? Not sure.

BODYCARE:

- Egyptian Magic Cream (sachet)
This is definitely not my first sachet, I have already used several sachets of this much-hyped Egyptian Magic All-Purpose Skin Cream and so far I am quite satisfied with the result. This is actually too heavy and too greasy for my face so I only use this cream for my body. I have also put this on my May Empties post a while ago and my opinion remains the same. It works quite well for my scars. You can read what I said about this cream on my May Empties post HERE.

- The Body Shop Neroli Jasmin Body Mist
This one is a travel size bottle which actually contain a lot of products and lasted me for months. My hubby bought me a set of this Neroli Jasmin body mist along with the shower gel and perfume, but the scent is not really my cup of tea. It's not that I hate the scent, it's just okay with me and I don't hate it, I just prefer a less sweet scent than this, that's all. Overall, this is a fresh summery scent that's great for daily use.
- Recommended? Yes if you like super sweet floral scent.
- Repurchase? Not for me.

- Juara Rice Facial Cleanser (sachet)
This is my first time trying on Juara products and I thank Lolabox for that because I have been curious with Juara ever since I read about it in Lucky magazine several years ago. I got around 4-5 uses out of this small sachet and here is my first impression about it: the texture and smell reminds me of a certain (popular) drugstore body wash (>_<) but it does feel comfortable on the skin and it seems to make my skin less oily during the first several hours. Other than that it's nothing really special about it.
- Recommended? Yes sure, nothing's wrong with it.
- Repurchase? No I don't think it's for me.

- Juara Sweet Black Tea & Rice Facial Moisturizer (sachet)
Aside from the Rice Facial Cleanser above I also got this moisturizer. I got 6-7 uses out of the small sachet and my first impression is: the texture is like lotion and it's not sticky at all. It absorbs quite fast without leaving any residue. I didn't feel anything different though, so to me it feels just like any other moisturizer.
- Recommended? Yes, it's quite alright and nothing's wrong with it.
- Repurchase? Not sure. I would love to try other moisturizer too.

HAIRCARE:

- Miranda Multi-Vitamins & Nutrients Hair Capsules
This comes with 6 hair capsules that contains eclipta alba (urang-aring) and moroccan argan oil for a shiny, smooth and soft hair. I use this tiny capsules after cleansing my hair while it was still damp. I break the capsule, pour it into my palm, rub them between my palm to heat it up a bit and then applied it to the strands of my hairs (avoiding the scalp). The result is a shiny and really soft hair with a lovely scent that lasts for about 3 days. I also love this capsules because it didn't weigh my hair down - which is important since I already have lifeless hair.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? Yes.

- Makarizo Advisor Hair Repair with Phytantriol & Pro Vitamin B5
This is not my first Makarizo Hair Repair tube that I finished and I have already featured this on my previous empties post before, so my opinion remains the same. My last empties post with this tube is on March, you can read my short review about it by clicking HERE.

MAKE-UP:

- Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream (sachet)
This is one of the most popular BB Cream back then when there were not as many BB Cream options like nowadays, but believe it or not I haven't tried it until recently with this sachet. I actually have this sachet for several months now but I just rediscovered it among my sachet stash and so I just recently tried it on. I think the coverage is pretty good and the formula is alright too. The staying power is great but the shade is a bit too dark for my current skintone. Overall this is actually a very nice BB Cream to try out.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? Probably not because currently I still have many BB Creams to use up.

- EOS Lip Balm in Summer Fruit

This is one of my most favorite lip balm so far! I fell in love with it since the first time I tried it on. I was hooked instantly. I'm a lip balm junkie and I have tried countless lipbalms before, but the EOS formula is one of the best out there in soothing dry chapped lips and making my lips stays moist. The formula is like butter on your lips, really smooth and soft. The summer fruit scent is one of their popular scent and this is my favorite scent too. The shape of the lip balm makes it easier to use on both lips at the same time. Brilliant.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? Yes definitely! I already have some of them on my stash right now ;)

- Bee Balm All-Purpose Balm (REVIEWED HERE)
This is a local product which was produced in Malang - East Java. I love this balm since the first use. It's an all-natural product made of beeswax and extra virgin olive oil which have lots of benefits. I used it mainly for my lips because it smells good and the thin formula also create this healthy shine on my lips which I love! This also heals my dry chapped lips very fast and is also great for super dry areas on my skin as well.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? Yes.

- Maybelline Baby Lips in Anti-Oxidant Berry
If you ask me for my recommendation on a super affordable lip balm that really works and smells great, I would instantly say "Maybelline Baby Lips". This is the third Baby Lips that I purchased and used, and I kept buying it over and over again because the price is less than IDR 20.000 (less then $2), and it works pretty good in moisturizing lips. I usually buy different scents every time I restocked because I like to try out all the scents they have on offer, and this Anti-Oxidant Berry is definitely one of my fave scent.
- Recommended? Yes.
- Repurchase? Yes, I already have a new one ;)

Okay, that's it for my September Empties. I finished quite a lot of lipbalms this month because both me and my husband are having dry lips due to the un-consistent weather we're having right here. That explains the severe use of lip balms in our house ;p Me and hubby are sharing lip balms but he used the Maybelline Baby Lips the most while I used the Bee Balm all by myself.

So what products did you finished currently? If you have similar posts, please link it below because I love reading Empties posts too ;)
