Qoo10 Hauls (featuring: Booroos)

8:23:00 PM

As you might probably know by now, I'm addicted to online shopping. By now I already considered myself as a veteran in online shopping, LOL, because I've been doing countless online shopping since 2004 I believe ;p

I know it's a bit tricky with online shopping if you don't have any experience yet, but the one thing you can do before buying online is to look for some information about the website that you're gonna shop at.
Yes my dear, research is important. Even at my stage I still do a bit of research before shopping if I'm not really familiar with the website.

One of my current go-to research source of online stores is the Booroos website. Maybe some of you remember about an article that I posted here a while ago introducing you to Booroos.com.

It's a review website where people can share their own shopping experiences and give reviews of the overall service as well as the product quality of an online store, so you might wanna check that website out before you do some major online shopping. They even have a list of BEST and WORST stores according to the reviews given by the members. I already added 3 reviews there and planning to add one about Qoo10 too.

(my reviews on Booroos)

One of my trusted online shopping platform is Qoo10. Some of you might probably already know about Qoo10 especially if you live in Asia because Qoo10 is pretty big by now, and it has several sub-platforms for Asian countries including Japan, Hongkong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia where you can shop both locally and globally.

It is not my first time shopping at Qoo10 but I just did a mini haul recently and I'm gonna put up the review about my experience shopping at Qoo10 on the Booroos website. So hopefully you can read  it on Booroos in a couple of days if they approve my review ;p

So anyway, here's what I got from Qoo10 this time...

Qoo10 actually offers a lot of variety of items, from beauty stuffs to fashion, food, even electronic things. Usually I only buy fashion items or beauty stuffs from Qoo10 but this time it's just a couple of beauty stuffs only. Nothing much, but I really needed all of these products.

I was out of face toner, and I am running out of moisturizers too (eek!). Moisturizers are a must-have for me because I use them every day,  especially in the morning. Or else my combination face would get dry and makeup won't stay put on my skin. So moisturizers are important for me. That's why I bought 2 moisturizers this time, along with a big bottle of toner, and an extra facial wash as a back up for my travel skincare bag.
Here's a complete listing of my hauls:

from left to right:
RoC Demaquillage Actif Skin Toner
HolikaHolika Aqua Fantasy Cream
Etude House Aloe Moistfull Soothing Gel
Clarins Daily Energizing Cleansing Gel

The HolikaHolika and the Etude House are Korean brand cosmetics, and I got them from different Korean stores in the Qoo10 Global site. That's what I like about Qoo10, you can shop at overseas stores and have them shipped the items without a hassle. Payments are easy once you understand all the payment options and picked one which you feel most comfortable with. I used my BCA (local banking account) to paid for all my purchases including for the overseas purchases.

I would love to review the products listed here if you want. If you have a request on which item you want me to review just shoot me a comment below and I'll get to it. Meanwhile, here's some short intro about the products:

Etude House Aloe Moistfull Soothing Gel
I have tried this Aloe Moistfull series from Etude House before, and I think my skin really loves it ;p I've mentioned about this series a couple of times here in this blog. I also put it on my monthly favorite product list as well as mentioned it several times as one of my go-to skincare products that I used all the time. I think this Aloe Moistfull series is great for combination to oily skin, especially the Soothing Cream and the Soothing Gel that I got here. As I told you above, I'm in urgent need of moisturizers so it's no wonder if I stock up on this big bottle of moisturizer ;)

 Clarins Daily Energizer Cleansing Gel
I saw this at one of the store in Qoo10 and I noticed that the price was quite interesting so I added it to my shopping cart immediately. After my first encounter with Clarins products I fell in love with all of their products that I have tested through samples. I starting to believe that Clarins would be my first choice in terms of high-end skincare brand because I just love everything that I tested out. But they are very pricey and I didn't dare to splurge that much yet, so I was excited to be able to found this one in a relatively steeper price. I'm very happy to be welcoming my first medium sized Clarins product in my vanity, LOL. pathetic, no?

 RoC Demaquillage Actif Skin Toner
I am literally running out of toner since I emptied my big bottle of Shiseido Deluxe Toner, I've been using samples of toners from my sample stash but then I'm starting to run out of those too. So this toner is a very much needed product. I often choose toners in big bottles because I use it everyday and so I ran out of them quite fast if the bottle is small. That's why I prefer to buy toners in big bottles so they don't run out too fast. This one is in a 200ml bottle so I suppose this should last me a few months. It is the biggest bottle of toner I could find after browsing for several hours on Qoo10 so I'm going with this RoC one. I have tried RoC products before when I was in college but it was only from samples, so I'm excited to try another RoC product again this time.

Holika Holika Aqua Fantasy Cream
Now this is probably the cutest moisturizer packaging I've ever owned ;p HolikaHolika is a Korean brand, and as we know Korean brands likes to do cute/unique packaging just like this one. This looks pretty on my vanity and I like to show it off, LOL.. I've only tried HolikaHolika make up but not their skincare so this is my first time trying out one of their skincare line. I think this Aqua Fantasy line is suitable for those with combination, dry or dehydrated skin because the name itself says "Aqua" which I roughly translates to "more water for your skin" ;p I can do a full review on this one (or on any of the products above) if you want ^o^

That's it for my mini Qoo10 hauls. Don't forget to check out Booroos.com to read reviews on where to shop (and where to NOT shop) ;p

I even found out some new stores to shop from, just from reading the reviews section over there. If you love online shopping and if you live in Asia, then I suggest you check out the Booroos website ;)

Meanwhile, have fun on your upcoming weekends!

 Toodles,
