The Lola Box is here!

Finally, my first ever beauty box is here! ^____^

Have you heard about Lola Box yet?
If you love reading beauty blogs or watching beauty gurus on youtube then you might probably aware of the beauty box subscription service that are very popular with the beauty gurus. Well now we have it in Indonesia, yay!

If you're not familiar with beauty box subscription, it is a subscription service in which you subscribed for monthly boxes to be delivered to your door. Each month the box would be filled with beauty products samples and knick-knacks. Here is what Lolabox has to say about their service:

"Lolabox is an online service that helps beauty addicts discover the latest beauty and lifestyle trends. Every month, our beauty experts will choose a handful of amazing deluxe size samples based on our members’ beauty profiles, place it in a beautiful Lolabox and mail it directly to their doors.

A typical Lolabox includes everything from skincare to makeup but can also contain beauty accessories and cute little extras"

If you're curious you can go to their website here to see more detailed info.

So this is my first ever beauty box and I am so very excited when I received it. It all started with this brown cardboard box that I received from the courier yesterday:

It's a medium sized box with a "Lola" sticker on it.
And when I opened it up, I find another box inside, sitting cozily inside the brown box:
it's the real Lola Box, yay!

So this is what Lola Box looks like. It's a combination of pink/white box with a unique cutting at the top and a simple "lola" witten on top of it. I love the box! It's sturdy and it has cute design so you can use  it to store things after you finish unboxing it. No need to throw it away!

Isn't that a cute box or what?
Okay now let's open it up ...

The first thing I see is a card with a short introductory and at the back of it is a list of products included in the box. I tried not to look at the list before I opened the wrap to see what's inside because I don't wanna ruin the surprise for myself, LOL.

Beneath the card there's a peach envelope wrapped with the packet of products. I opened the envelope first and found some brochures and discount vouchers there. I'm gonna tell you about the vouchers later on, but first let's take a peek inside the packet:

Now that I have unwrapped the bow, let's see what's inside this very first Lola Box now, shall we?

I think that's pretty great for a first box. There are quite a handful of products inside and most of them are deluxe sample sizes. They are also from various brand and they include a variations of product types too. I also like the fact that they mix foreign / international brands with local Indonesian brand in their box.

I'm excited to see that there are Orlane and Sebamed products, both I haven't tried before. And since I love trying out new things so I am pretty excited to try them out.

I also love the Taman Sari Royal Heritage Javanese Formula range because I've tried the Cocoa series before and loved it so much, so I'm very excited to try out these other series of Taman Sari Royal Heritage products.

Well, if you follow my twitter I already posted a picture of this lola box but I deliberately blurred the photo of the items because I don't want to ruin the surprise for you incase you haven't received your boxes yet ;p

But as per today I guess everybody had received theirs because by this afternoon I saw a lot of others who also posted a picture of their lolabox, so I guess it's okay for me to post the picture of the products now ;)

Okay, so here is the list of the products that I got inside the box:
- Orlane Anagenese 25+ Complex First Time-Fighting Care
- Orlane Anagenese 25+ Complex First Time-Fighting Care Eye Contour
- Orlane Extreme Line-Reducing Lip Care
- Orlane Be 21 Eau De Parfum
- Sebamed Clean Face Cleansing Bar
- Sebamed Clean Face Care Gel
- Sebamed Clean Face Deep Cleansing Facial Toner
- Taman Sari Royal Heritage Green Coconut Conditioner
- Taman Sari Royal Heritage Body Scrub
- Taman Sari Royal Heritage Balinese Murut Body Scrub
- Taman Sari Royal Heritage Cocoa Body Scrub
- Platinum by Ristra Long Lasting Lipstick
- Aromatic Pouch by Scentsibility

And vouchers from: Taman Sari Royal Heritage, NYX, The Balm.

As you can see above there are a couple of items from different brands, so I decided to list them here according to the brand name just to make it easier. I would also include a short description that I found on the list card.

So first up, is the brand that I am most excited to try out, Orlane:
Orlane Anagenese 25+ Complex First Time-Fighting Care
This features free radical-busting Vitamins A and E, hibiscus seed extracts and bio-marine trace elements to moisturize, soothe and protect your skin.
Orlane Anagenese 25+ Complex First Time-Fighting Care Eye Contour
The eye contour gel attacks puffiness, dark circles and fine lines with white lily extract and organic silicon.
Orlane Extreme Line-Reducing Lip Care
Instantly smoothes your lips and helps getting rid of wrinkles and tiny vertical lines, leaving the lips supple.
Orlane Be 21 Eau De Parfum
Stay fresh with long lasting smell!

The Sebamed Clean Face series with the pH value 5.5 supports the skin's own barrier against dehydration and blemishes:
Sebamed Clean Face Cleansing Bar
Cleanses deep into the pores gently, free of soap and alkali.
Sebamed Clean Face Clear Gel
Free from oils and emulsifiers, it provides the skin with abundant moisture.
Sebamed Clean Face Deep Cleansing Facial Toner
For gentle deep cleansing of the pores. Anti-bacterial action counteracts formation of new pimples.

Taman Sari Royal Heritage is a local Indonesian brand. I love these range because they have pretty packaging and you know I'm all into fab packaging, right? ;p I've tried their Cocoa series before and loved it, but I didn't know that they have other series too such as the ones listed here, so I'm glad that I can try them out now:
Taman Sari Royal Heritage Green Coconut Conditioner
This is a hair conditioner and I've tried it before and loved it. I even put it into my January 2012 monthly favorites post.
Taman Sari Royal Heritage Papaya Enzyme Body Scrub
I've been eyeing this Papaya range in the supermarket aisle but never bought it so I'm glad I can finally try this Papaya series now.
Taman Sari Royal Heritage Balinese Murut Body Scrub
I didn't know they have this series so I am also excited to try this one out.
Taman Sari Royal Heritage Cocoa Body Scrub
As I told you before, I love their Cocoa series. I have the Cocoa series Body Shower and Cocoa series Body Lotion but I don't have the Body Scrub yet so I am excited to try out the body scrub version of this series.

Platinum by Ristra Long Lasting Lipstick
With anti-oxidants and emollients this lipstick soften and moisturize your lips.
>>> I know everyone received different colors of this lipstick. I received the Red Glamour which is a true red color.

Aromatic Pouch by Scentsibility
It's an aromatherapy session on the go! Place this cute pouch in both of your hands and breath in slowly. It'll help you relax.
>>> This is probably the most unique item in the box. This little thing is what makes the box extra fragrant, and I love it!

What do you think? Not bad for a first box, right?
Aside from the items above, there were also vouchers included such as discount voucher from Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa ( I need spa!), NYX, and The Balm.

I am most excited about the 15% discount voucher from Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa! I have tried their spa treatment before and loved it so much, so I can't wait to use this voucher!

So far, I really love my box. From the box packaging itself to the items and vouchers included in it, and the detailed information on their website, I love the whole service.

They really seems to know what they're doing and I hope that they can also carry their good service and keep improving it for the future months.

They mixed some deluxe sample size products among the smaller sample size products, and they also include a full size product (I think the lipstick is a full size product? -cmiiw-).  If you love trying out new things or venturing out to new brands that you never tried before, or if you like collecting sample size products or if you just love everything about beauty stuff, then you might want to try subscribing to Lola Box.

You can just buy a one-month off (buy it per month) or you can subscribe to 3 months or 6 months plans for a cheaper price than normal. The items sent will be a surprise because that is part of the mystery ;p But Lola Box assure you that you will get products specifically based on your own profiles. They also have LolaDots which is some kind of points. So you can redeem your LolaDots to get a free box, discounts, vouchers, etc.
