Review: Oscar Blandi Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo Spray

11:30:00 AM

As I promised you on my previous post, here is my take on the Oscar Blandi Volumizing Dry Shampoo that I got from the Oscar Blandi pre-launching event a while ago.

Oscar Blandi is a well-known brand for salon and hair care products, and one of their best-seller product is the Dry Shampoo.

Oscar Blandi released 3 variants of dry shampoo which are:
  • The Oscar Blandi Pronto; which is a dry shampoo with powder texture
  • The Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray; which is the spray version of the above
  • and The Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo; which has a volumizing effect for the hair

In this post I will review the last one of the three variants above, which is the Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo.

This is my first time trying on the dry shampoo which I have always been curious with since a long time ago.

This dry shampoo from Oscar Blandi is like a "temporary shampoo" for your hair to help your hair get through another day without washing ;p - So it's really perfect for those days that you have not washed your hair yet but you have an event to go to. Or for those more lazy days when you just don't feel like washing your hair but you still want to look at least "presentable" in front of everybody else ;p

This Dry Shampoo is a magic thing for me ;p Because I'm amazed on how it has the ability to cleanse the hair without water.  The end result is a hair that looks and feels freshly shampooed, without a trace of residue.

When I first tried using it, I remember how I like the scent that comes out of it. It says the scent is a lemon verbena scent, I find it refreshing and it's not an overly-strong scent too.

This one sprays on clear, which means it’s completely undetectable in the hair so it's ideal for all hair color. Because it has a volumizing effect so when applied it would instantly boosts hair volume.

The ingredient of gentle starches in this dry shampoo from Oscar Blandi can help absorbs excess oil and product build up on your hair so it would save you from the disgrace of a limp oily flat hair, at least for another day before it's time to wash it.

It also has the ingredient of vitamin E and wheat proteins to helps strengthen and protects the hair shaft as well as giving life back to the hair roots, making your hair feels "alive" again.

It also didn't leave any white residue on the hair so it's perfect to use on every type of hair especially for dark-colored hairs. I guess that's why they call this "Invisible Volumizing Spray" ^o^

“You can also use this Spray as an instant volumizer or mid-day pick-me-up for your hair. The cool mist on the scalp is extremely refreshing.”

How to use the Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible Volumizing Spray :
  • Hold can 6-8” away from head and spray product onto scalp and hair, especially at roots.
  • Allow to dry before using fingers to shake out excess product.
  • Brush out thoroughly.
  • Style hair as desired.

After trying it on several occasions, I find that this is a seriously amazing product. I love how this dry shampoo can really liven up my hair again even after it has passed it's washing schedule. I deliberately didn't washed my hair for several days so that I can try this product, and after using it on my dirty oily lifeless hair, it somehow works it's magic and turned my hair into a manageable mane again. How fascinating indeed!

Below you can see the "before & after" photo of when I used this Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo:

You can see the difference, right?
The magic transformation only happens in about 5 minutes or so..
Suddenly my hair has it's life back, in an instant!

Regarding the volumizing effect it does gives me some volume and as you can see in above & below photos, suddenly my hair does not look flat and lifeless anymore.
The volumizing effect is pretty great considering my hair was already in it's super limp condition.

Overall, I really love this product and would recommend this to others especially if you're like me who sometimes turns too lazy to wash hair every 2 days ;p

This would also great as an emergency beauty kit because this can save you from looking dull because of the dirty hair, especially if you suddenly have to go meet someone or have an event to attend to while you don't have time to go to the hair salon. Definitely one of the must-have items in terms of haircare ;)
So how about you?
Have you tried a dry shampoo? What do you think of it?
