[SKINCARE] : CHARIS Glow+ Serum

7:08:00 PM

Another day another new serum to try hehe ..
Maklum ya, memang hobinya trying out new things, including trying out new products hehe ..

So yasss.. this is the newest serum I'm currently trying out, and liking it so far. When seeing this Glow+ Serum on Charis I was intrigued by the advertising. Overall it says this serum is perfect for skin that are under face masks all day. I kinda agree with that because after wearing face masks frequently during this pandemic my skin seems to have dark spots and sometime looks dull too. So I was willing to try out this Glow+ Serum because of that.

And I'm glad I tried this one because after using this for a while my skin felt better, and although it would take more time to finally get rid of all the dark spots but at least I believe this serum would reduce the appearance of dark spots and would also brightens my skin in time.

Review :
First of all, I love the packaging!
A simple yet practical glazed bottle in pretty peach color :)
The size is also perfect for travel or daily use.

I also love how the formula is not sticky at all. It absorbs really fast to the skin without leaving any oily or sticky residue on top of skin's surface, so I can straightly layer it with other skincare product and even with make up.

After trying this serum for more than a week I can see that this Glow+ Serum seems to work well with my current skin condition. It really helps with the dullness and tired looking skin. I used this routinely every day. Sometimes I mixed it with other serums but most of the time I just used toner, this Glow+ Serum, and a moisturizer. And I can see how it slowly but surely took care of my dull skin and dark spots.

The ingredients inside this serum include :
𝘏𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘥 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘯 for anti-wrinkle effect.
𝘕𝘪𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘥𝘦 (a.k.a Vitamin B3) which is one of my favorite ingredient in skincare. It helps with reducing dark spots and also helps brighten skin.
𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘰𝘭 which functions as skin barrier as well as to help lock in moisture for extra hydration.
And 𝘟𝘺𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘰𝘭 which calms the skin and has cooling effect. It also helps balance skin moisture.

So overall, this Charis Glow+ Serum has four effects on skin :
- Brightening effect,
- Cooling effect,
- Soothing effect,
- and Glowing effect.

And based on my experience it does deliver four of them on my skin. I also love its versatility. Currently I love to mix it with my face oil for extra hydration in the evening. But in the morning I just use this serum with a simple toner and moisturizer.

My skin would be well hydrated when I use this serum as my base skincare. So far I'm liking it because I can use this with my other skincare products without causing any harm effects to my skin.
