[MAKE-UP] : Esqa The Goddes Cheek Palette & Esqa Satin Lip Crayon in Twisted Nude

If you came here often you probably know that I shopped at Sociolla pretty often. Not just because I am part of the Sociolla blogger but it was because I do really enjoy shopping there. I love the various brands and products they are offering, and I also love the various discounts and promotions they always have. It's like every week there's a different promotion ;)

You will also get beauty points every time you purchase something and that points can be used towards your next purchase as a discount! I always use my points as further discount especially when I purchased something rather expensive (secara saya anaknya demen diskonan hehe).

So anyway, this is not a sponsored post and I purchased these myself from Sociolla. The last thing I purchased from Sociolla are these makeup products from the local brand Esqa Cosmetics (you can see my haul here : Sociolla Haul). I really love their packaging and product branding. Honestly their products look like an international brand. Especially with these ones I'm purchasing; the design and color of the product, and the packaging quality itself are very nice.

These are The Goddess Cheek Palette and Satin Lip Crayon from Esqa Cosmetics.

I purchased them as a set but they are actually individual products. At the time I purchased them they were on discount as a bundle, so that's why I got them because the bundle was cheaper compared to individual prices. And as I told you that's what I loved from Sociolla, there's always some kind of discount that you can use towards your purchase :)

So anyway, these are my first Esqa Cosmetics products. I have been eyeing the Goddess Cheek Palette for a while now because it just looks oh-so-pretty with all the reflective rose gold shade. I love that they are not too big in size so it makes it easier to bring in your daily makeup case for touch ups.

The Goddess Cheek Palette contains three products inside : a bronzer, a blush, and a highlighter. It also has a very nice large mirror inside, and just look at the photo below, the rose gold packaging seems to match the shades inside, aren't they beautiful ?

I haven't tried them a lot yet but I can tell that the bronzer is a neutral color (it looks orange on the pan but it's not really orange when applied). The shade is warm enough for the medium tan skin but it is also cool enough for the fair skin ones. The pink-coral blush however is really subtle for my medium tan skin. I can still build up the color with a heavy hand though, but I imagine this blush would suits fair skin better.

Meanwhile, the highlighter is an iridescent neutral gold. Although the shade is like a muted gold but it has white highlights underneath so fair skin can wear it too. In my opinion this highlighter is pretty subtle and you had to have heavy hands and a good highlighter brush if you want this to pop up on your skin, but for me who doesn't like to wear popping makeup I'd say this highlighter is sparkly enough for my skin :)

But if you're looking for a more pigmented popping colors then this is not for you. Actually this bundle is quite muted because the Lip Crayon I chose is also in muted color hehe

The Satin Lip Crayon I chose is the Twisted Nude. It looks a little bit brown in the photo above but it is more of a nude color in real life. They have other option for the bundle at the time I purchased this, but the other option was a red shade and I already have too much red lipsticks. So I chose this one instead. But alas, after trying it on I think this shade is too pale for my skin tone. It washes me off, unless I wore the right color of makeup.

But I like the formula though. It's creamy and satin-y, and it goes on really well when I applied it to my lips. Too bad the shade is just not for my skin tone. I can still pull it off sometimes but not for everyday wear.

Overall, my first impression of this Esqa Cosmetics were pretty nice. I love the packaging (with all the rose gold theme) and the product quality is really good too. The pigmentation is moderate but the formula and texture are great.

If you want to buy Esqa Cosmetics or any other cosmetic brands you can purchase them at Sociolla website. I have a discount code that you can use for first time purchase. If it's not your first purchase you can use a new email to be able to use this discount :

PS: The discount code can not be used on discounted products. So if you have a discounted product in your cart then you can not use my disc code. You can do a separate purchases if you want (because they mostly offer free shipping anyway 😉).

Happy Shopping !
