I have been naughty and been skipping my weekly facial mask routine lately, but last week I did put on one face mask, and it's the Innisfree Natural Essential Mask in Avocado. This is the first time I tried Innisfree sheet mask, actually this is the first time I try Innisfree product!
Innisfree is one of those well-known Korean beauty brand that boasts the benefits of nature from the pristine island of Jeju in Korea, they pursue an eco-friendly green life to preserve the balance of nature, so that's why their products are made from natural ingredients and eco-friendly.
Like almost all girls and women in Asia (and some of you in Europe and US) who has been crazy about Korean beauty products, I am starting to collect them too ;p If you read my blog a while ago you might remember that I won 4 bids of Innisfree sheet masks on eBay the other day, they are:
-Innisfree Natural Essential Pine Mask
-Innisfree Natural Essential Avocado Mask
-Innisfree Natural Essential Apple Mask
-Innisfree It's Real Bamboo Mask
And from those 4 variants I decided to try the Avocado Mask first ;)
Innisfree Natural Essential Mask in Avocado
I Bought it at: eBay
Price : $1.04
What it says:
The writings on the sheet mask is mostly in Korean, but I found this explanation from their website:
Natural Facial Treatment for smoother and healthy-looking skin. This avocado mask replenishes nutrition and moisture deep within your skin by protecting and presenting a smooth appearance.

(Current skin : combination oily with small breakouts + dull complexion)
My face overall complexion has been a bit dull lately, maybe because the food I ate, and because I was lazy to cleanse my face thoroughly lately, and been neglecting my face wash routines. And then the small breakouts came out one day when I didn't clean my face thoroughly after using sunblock (TIPS: Must cleanse your face extra clean when using sunblock because sunblock can clog your pores!). So I started my routine weekly face mask again and picked this mask out of my sheet mask pile ;p
Actually I chose this mask randomly from the Innisfree mask sheets pile because all of the masks were written in Korean and I don't know which one is right for my current skin condition since they leave no further explanation on the packaging. So I grabbed the Avocado one instead ^o^
It is a mask-sheet type and what I noticed first is how many essence it had in the mask and in the packaging. When I pull out the mask there were still a handful amount of leftover essences in the bottom of the packaging. The sheet is probably one of the thinnest sheet mask I've ever tried, and it was fully submerged with rich essence.
It has a very subtle lovely scent that you won't probably notice because it's so subtle. The size is really fitted for my facial frame (which I love!), and the thin type of the mask makes it adheres really well to the skin and feels more comfortable on the face. I can walk around with this mask on without having to worry that it would slip off my face ;p
When I put it on I felt an instant cooling and refreshing feeling on my skin. The thin sheet already has much essence on it that when I put it on and lie down on my bed there were some drips that falls into my neck (minus point).
Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes, and then take it off and massage in the extra remaining essence on your face in circular motion until it's absorbed by your skin.
The after result:
My face feels good and refreshed instantly! It felt really well-moisturized and the cooling effect lasts until I fell asleep. The surface of my skin is smoother and more radiant. It erased my dull complexion and gave me a radiant and fresher complexion instead.
Overall, I love using this mask. Aside from the dripping essence factor that I told you earlier I actually love the way that this thin mask sheet contains a whopping 20ml of essence (!) which helps to deeply moisturize the skin. I love the cooling effect on the skin and love the fresh feeling it gave to my face. I can't wait to try other variants of the Innisfree mask sheets! ;)
Last week I use Lady Soma Anti-Oxidant Berry Masque,
