[Multi-Purpose] : Dr Bronners 18-in-1 Tea Tree Pure Castile Soap Review

6:52:00 PM

Most of you probably have known about Dr Bronner's 18-in-1 ( yes, you read it right, 18 in 1 !) multi purpose soaps and I myself has tried it once before but never actually reviewed it here on the blog.

These are liquid soaps made of organic oils and pure castile. They are known for their gentle formula and their multi functional properties in which you can use them for so many things! And ever since Dr Bronners products are now easily available here in Indonesia I thought I will write a short review of it in this blog because I do use these soaps a lot for about everything hehe..

Okay, so Dr Bronner is a US based company that made multi purpose soaps that are good for just about any cleaning task. From face wash to body and hair wash, soap dish, laundry / clothes cleaner, floor soaps for mopping, cleaning windows, etc. It's even gentle enough for pets soaps, and I also use it as a gentle soap for my delicates.

It can be used as an overall cleaner, from body to house cleaner, with no synthetic preservatives, detergents or foaming agents. It is now officially available here in Indonesia so it is now much easier to get them compared to a few years ago when I would only get them at specialty store or import store.

I've been tryin’ this set of soaps from Dr Bronner for a while (which I got at its official store in Tokopedia) and after using them for a while I can say that I think they’re great to have in your household. ⁣

I got the Dr Bronner ⁣Trial Kit in “Fresh” because I wanted to try more of their variants. They have a couple trial kits with different variants so you can try more of them. I purchased the "Fresh" kit which consists of : Citrus, Peppermint, and Tea Tree.
💙 The Peppermint one is perfect for washing hands or washing / cleaning utensils. It’s not preferable for body or face wash unless you like the feeling of showering with toothpaste 😬 So I mainly use this as hand soap, especially for the kitchen sink to wash my hands after cooking.⁣

💛 The Citrus one is (for me) can be use as body wash because the scent is more acceptable than the mint one. But I personally don’t really like using it as body wash either because it leaves a dry feeling on my skin. So I use this one for laundry, as a #cleaningagent for smaller items such as my fabric masks, underwear, and also small towels such as face and hand towels. ⁣

🧡 The Tea Tree one I used as body wash because it smells nicer than the other two, and its scent is pretty neutral for body wash scent too. Sometimes I also use this as face wash, and I find it nice enough and were not too harsh for my combi skin 😉⁣
If you're new to Dr Bronner and didn't know which one to get I recommend getting one of their trial kit first (available on their official store at Tokopedia or you can also check their Instagram for more info). I think basically the formula are all the same and the only difference is the aroma. So if you buy the trial kit first it’s a nice way to experience many scents of #drbronnerssoap with more affordable price 😁⁣
