So last weekend we had our nephew stayed with us for two days and on Saturday we took him to the Schmutzer Primate Centre (alias Pusat Primata Schmutzer), a stand-alone attraction located inside Ragunan Zoo. Sometimes it's a bit of a challenge to find a place that can be both relaxing and fun to go to in a big city like Jakarta, but I'm glad there are a few places that can fit into that category, including the Pusat Primata Schmutzer.

Because of the visitors bulk on the weekend so we decided to go there in the afternoon. It closed by 5pm but if you only visited the Schmutzer centre and not the whole Ragunan zoo then you can definitely still have time because the Schmutzer centre is not as big as Ragunan of course, so it can be explored just within 2-3 hours.

Anyway, it was raining when we arrived at the parking lot ( Suggestion: park at the East entrance of Ragunan zoo because that's the closest parking area to the Schmutzer centre), so we waited in the car for a little bit until the rain subsides. Then after about 1/2 hour waiting we finally enter the Ragunan east gate and walk our way through the lion cages first before taking a route to the Schmutzer building.

I wanted to dress up casually with jeans and sneakers because my new Onitsuka finally came 2 days earlier ! Talking about my new shoes is another story... So I really wanted this Onitsuka Tiger Mexico Paraty 66 (yes, I'm very detailed with the model name) and been wanting it for so long, at that time they have no official store here in Jakarta so the closest place to get them is either Singapore or Malaysia. I even plan to visit Singapore for a short holiday again while buying the shoes at their outlet store in S'pore, but then the money for the holiday never came, Lol... 

So I waited patiently... Until the official Onitsuka store finally opens here in Jakarta (!). I was excited and went there a few weeks after their opening. But the store was still packed with visitors and my shoe size wasn't available. I won't go for other model, I only want the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico Paraty 66 😅

Then I went there again after a few months, hoping that they'd already restock it by then. But boo was I wrong. My size was still not available and it was almost 3 months after I initially visited the store for the first time. How come the stock is still not available? I guess the exact model is very popular so it ran out quickly. So, I decided to just buy it online via "jastip". I found one jastip service that quote me cheaper price compared to others, so I finally decided to order via that store. They bought it from Malaysia and their reputation is quite good. So after a 2 weeks PO time I finally hold my dream shoes. Well, not exactly my dream shoes, but more like my "dream sneakers" 😃

Anyway, back to my ootd post, I purchased the cropped white denim to be worn with the Onitsuka because in my mind it would look good together and would look very casual, perfect for outdoor weekends like this. I also decided to bring my Miniso boater hat that I haven't worn before (bought it months ago and never been worn until now 😛) because I though it would help with the rain a little bit, at least my hair didn't get wet and limp because of the rain (and that is an important factor! Lol).

The blue plaid blouse is also new, and I'm glad it matched the whole outfit. I like everything about this blouse. I really like the style of the blouse with a boat neck and slightly cropped length. I also adore the big ruffles and wavy style of the sleeves. And the color! And the plaid! 💙 So many things to love in one blouse !

Did you know that I never wore sneakers before? Because I don't do sports and I never thought sneakers are pretty enough to style. But now that the casual trend is back and there are many cute and dressy sneakers out there I finally caved in and purchased one that I thought would at least look good on me and can be worn for outings and vacation. So this shoes is probably one of my best buy of the year 😀💙 

Oh and I'm currently loving Miniso bags right now, they are so cheap and cute (!). Will do a review post on Miniso bags soon 💋
