[Candle Review] : Bath & Body Works FLANNEL Candle

If you've been following my blog for a while now then you might picked up my obsession for scented candles. Well actually I am obsessed with anything scented, like perfume or home scents, and also candles.
I have tried many candles from different brands and with different scents (you can find most of the reviews on my other blog Tigerlily's Book, but I think I also have a couple candle reviews here on this blog).
But anyway, here is a review of my current favorite candle :
Bath & Body Works FLANNEL Candle
"Crisp Autumn Air, Bergamot, Heirloom Mahogany, and Soft Musk".
After trying on different scents I can honestly say that for Home Scents I prefer either Gourmand scent, Citrus scent, or a Woodsy scent. This Flannel candle from Bath & Body Works has a woodsy notes with the mahogany and musk as you can see from the scent info above. So I naturally got drawn into it because I basically love anything musky and woodsy.
If you don't know what musk/woodsy scent smells like, try sniffing some mens cologne, because mens cologne usually has that woodsy scent (;p). That is because mens cologne usually has some kind of woodsy or musk scent on the basenote, so that's why any candle that has musk or woodsy notes will usually smells like an offshoot version of mens cologne.
Trust me, there's a difference between wearing mens cologne on your body and smelling it on your home. So don't be afraid of choosing musk-based or woodsy scents for your candles. It won't smell exactly like mens cologne. Eventhough the base-notes are the same (musk and other woodsy variant) but the combination of the middle and top notes are what differentiate them.
My Take :
Back to the review, to my nose this Bath & Body Works Flannel candle smells like a very good version of mens cologne mixed with cooling balsamic / forest woodsy scent. Exactly my type of cooling relaxing scent. Whenever I lit this candle the ambience would feel like a cool breeze in a winter night.
It has that refreshing tint on top of a minty forest scent. Maybe if you walk through the forest on the mountain on the last days of autumn where hints of winter already coming in, that's what would describe this scent. All I know is I really really love this scent and no wonder this has been one of the best-seller scent ever from BBW candles!
I also love the deep blue color of the candle and also the leaves detail on the lid of the jar. This is a mini / single wick candle and the sillage is quite strong for a single wick! Usually mini candles don't have strong scent-throw but this one is very aromatic for its size and can be smelled all over a small room (such as a 3x4 bedroom). Super love !
My favorite past time now is sniffing this candle right from the jar, Lol. I know it's not right to sniff candles directly out of the jar so don't copy me, but I just can't help but falling in love with the scent so much. Especially on rainy cold days like these, oh my... the balsamic woodsy notes smells like heaven to my nose :)
So that's how much I love it. And it also ends this review.
