[2016] JULY Empties / Products I Finished

9:02:00 PM

Haven't written about my empties products for a long time. Mainly because writing empties took a lot of time because I usually have many empties and writing them one by one is sometimes just too much of a hassle for a lazy lady like me (;p).

Buuuttt... let's just get this over with..
So this is actually my empties of last month (July). It's on my blogger draft for the whole month and I just had time to finish it today. So without further ado, here are my empties for last month :

Bath & Body Works Sea Island Cotton Shower Gel
This is my shower gel for our bathroom at my parent in law's house. When I ordered this Sea Island Cotton scent I expect something clean and sweet, but it turns out that it's not my favorite scent at all. The scent reminds me of floor cleaner or laundry cleaner. Some people love that scent but apparently I'm not one of them. I like the smell of fresh laundry but I don't like smelling a very strong laundry cleaner.
= Will not repurchase.

Cottage Bergamot & Acacia Honey Moisturizing Nature Soap
One of my favorite scent from Cottage this has a sweet subtle floral with a hint of softness to it. Very elegant yet feminine it makes me feel like a lady whenever I shower with it :)
= Def. a repurchase for me.

La Rose Rouge Passion Series Repair Damaged Hair Shampoo & Conditioner
I love the packaging of these shampoo set because of the fuchsia and black theme, it looks lovely in my bathroom. I also like the scent of this series which is a sweet lovely clean hair smell. But I don't think this is suitable for my hair condition. This series are meant for dry damaged hair while I have very fine hair with dry scalp and oily strands. I don't think this is meant for my hair type but my husband gained lots of benefit when using this series. So if you have dry hair you might wanna try these series.

Himalaya Herbals Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub
I like this scrub because I can use this daily without aggravating my skin. I basically like most of Himalaya Herbals products, including this one. It has soft granules that won't irritate your skin.

Bioderma Sensibio H20 Micelllar Water
One of my favorite first cleanser this micellar water is already my 3rd bottle because I like it so much. I've also tried the green cap one but I think this red one suits my combi oily skin more. The only down point of this product is the price (;p). Right now I'm trying other micellar water from a French brand Corine De Farme which is a lot cheaper than this Bioderma.
= Def. a repurchase.

Bioderma Hydrabio Brume
This is the nicest face spray with the most fine mist I've ever used. The mist is so fine you wouldn't even feel wet on the face. It's great for hydrating skin and it's great for makeup or for when you're out there feeling hot under the sun. One of my favorite face spray so far.
= Def. a repurchase as well.

Brittanie's Thyme French Green Clay & White Tea Organic Face Mask
I finally finished this one after a really long time. I actually like this mask because the after effect is so wonderful (it sucked away toxins and gave my face an overall healthy brighter 5-years-younger appearance), but I hate the process of mixing it up with rose water first to make a paste. Sometimes I made too messy texture, other times I made a very flimsy texture of mask. So I hate the process but really love the result.

Brad Ultra-Peel Maximum Performance Exfoliating Gel
When I post this product on my instagram (add me : @yurikristia) I actually had DMs of people wanting to buy this from me (even though it's just a sample!). Apparently this product already has a massive followers. It is a leave-on chemical exfoliation product in which they will exfoliate your skin through the deep penetration under your skin layers. I've heard many good things about this product but I only got tiny little sample so I don't think it does much to my skin. But I'm still curious though..

Maybelline The Rocket Volum Express Mascara
I have a couple of favorite mascara from Maybelline and this is one of them. I like how it makes my eyes seems bigger and my lashes looks thicker. Love love love this mascara!
= Def. a repurchase.

Too Faced Primed & Poreless
One of my first primer that I had and one of my favorite too. This gives smooth surface and makes my makeup glides on wonderfully. It makes everything looks prettier on top of it.
= Def will purchase again.

Avene Sensitive White Whitening Fluid & Whitening Essence
These are whitening care products specially designed for sensitive skin. I actually only had a chance of trying them a few times because after 3-4 times using it I forgot about them and when I want to use them again they already turned bad (boohoo..). So I actually don't have anything to say about them now :(

Alpha H Liquid Gold
This is the same as the Brad Ultrapeel above, a chemical exfoliating product that you leave on your skin so it can penetrate the deepest layers of your epidermal. I think I like this one better than the Brad Ultrapeel because I can already see a bit difference from just a few uses out of this deluxe sample size tube. I would love to try it in bigger bottle in the future :)
= Might buy it in full size later.

MASKS & SACHETS
Astalift Moisturizing Mask
This has a two-piece sheets that you put on the face. And it has orange colors, so pretty ! I like this sheet mask because it feels really nice and you'd know that this is made of a high quality ingredient and came from a high quality brand. Will do a review of this mask soon.
Real Nature Mung Bean Sheet Mask
A clarifying mask that contains mung bean extract, effective for purifying pores. It feels nice and cool, and it gives a smoother and plumper effect on skin.

Clearderm Green Tea Essence Sheet Mask
This has green tea properties to remove impurities. At least that's what it said on the packaging. An overall okay product, this cools down skin and gave slightly brighter appearance. It's not that expensive too :)

YSL Forever Youth Liberator Serum
When I bought the YSL Youth Liberator Cleansing Foam the SA gave me these serum samples to go with it, and she said that I would love these serum. And after trying it on a few nights I could say that these are in fact quite nice. It's light enough for my combi oily skin and it gave a plumped, younger looking skin in the morning :)

Secret Kiss Let Me Know CC Cream
I like the idea of using a CC Cream and I think this one is an okay product. I couldn't say much about it because I only use a tiny little sachet sample of it, but from my first experience I would say that this is nice and an overall okay product.

Secret Key Snow White Cream
Containing one of my fave ingredient Niacinamide this whitening cream works wonder as a skincare product as well as makeup base. It does give me a brighter appearance and I think my oily combination skin has no problem with it.

Alrighty,
That is all for my last month's empties. A total of 21 products (!) including : 8 full sized products, 3 sheet masks, 6 travel size products, and 4 sachet samples.
