I love buying sets or kit when it comes to beauty products, because then I could try many products from the brand especially if I haven't tried the brand before. This is one of those box set/ kit that I bought a long time ago. Before buying this set I only ever tried Burt's Bees lip balm, but I was always curious with their skincare line too, so I decided to buy one of their box set which is the Burt's Bees Essential Kit.

Burt's Bees offer a variety of box sets but my choice went to this one. This Essential Kit includes five products in them (three of them are trial/travel sizes) :

Burt's Bees Peppermint & Vitamin E Beeswax Lip Balm
Infused with peppermint this lip balm would moisturize and condition lips.
I think this is probably my favorite product out of all the products in this set. That's because I use lipbalm everyday so this is my most-used product from this set. I really like the formula of this lipbalm. It's nice, doesn't feel sticky, and most importantly it really moisturize my lips properly. Oh it also has a hint of minty taste but I don't find it annoying. It might be a little bit too much for some people though..

Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Lotion
Enriched with skin softening milk and nourishing honey to moisturize skin up to 24 hours.
I'm not sure if this could really moisturize for 24 hours, all I know is that this lotion doesn't feel sticky and greasy, and it also has a wonderful texture. It really moisturize my skin and it's not too heavy for my already-oily skin. I really like this one!

Burt's Bees Soap Bark & Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream
With natural soap bark that deeply cleans, removes dirt and excess oil. Also infused with chamomile and aloe to moisturize skin.
The first time I tried this cleansing cream I was taken aback by how minty it is. Although it doesn't have peppermint listed in ingredients but it's surprisingly feels very minty, like washing your face with a mint toothpaste, Lol. I never used a face wash with a strong minty feel like this one so I was a little surprised. But then after washing I felt that my face was re-energized and feels very refreshed! So I started to appreciate the minty feeling :) I think this would be lovely for a morning wash or when you're feeling lazy and under the weather. This would surely perks you up !



Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Cream
A blend of super saturated coconut oil and natural emollient ingredients with a hint of peppermint for a smooth, pampered feet.
I think this is the only product in the package that I'm not excited about. I don't want to be blunt and say that I don't like this product because what didn't work for me does not necessarily means that it wouldn't work for you too. This foot cream didn't work for my skin but it might just work for you. The consistency is more like a super thick coconut oil (if you know what I mean), so it's way too sticky for my oily body skin. I think this foot cream would work better for harsh winter or for super dry skin. Apparently, I live in the tropics and have oily skin, so the sticky formula did not work for me at all.

Burt's Bees Hand Salve
An all-purpose hand salve made from botanical oils, herbs and beeswax to deeply nourish and softens dry hands.
I always bring this in my makeup pouch inside my bag but I didn't use it that often. Maybe because it's easier for me to grab my other hand cream that comes in tube form such as the L'Occitane hand creams. This Burt's Bees hand salve comes in a tin which makes it less practical to use because I have to dip my finger to use it, and I hate doing that (;p). Nonetheless, I think this could be used as an "all-over" salve (I used it for any dry spots on my body including my face). And I still carry this salve everywhere with me, just incase... (;p)
