Event: Oscar Blandi Pre-Launching

12:32:00 AM

Last week I was invited to the Oscar Blandi Sunset Rooftop party at their new office building in Ampera. It was a pre-launching event for Oscar Blandi, yay! Finally Oscar Blandi is coming here to Indonesia. I am so excited for that because I've read so many reviews on Oscar Blandi products in US beauty blogs and been dying to try it myself.

Oscar Blandi is a very well known brand for salon and hair care products. One of their famous product that I've been dying to try is the Dry Shampoo which is also the highlight of the event.

For oily hair like mine that gets dirty and limp and lifeless easily, this dry shampoo should be very beneficial for in-between washes, so I don't have to wash my hair every single day. That's why I was excited to learn about this Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo at the event.

The event itself was held on their office's roof top area which is amazing. The place is so cool and the view is fantastic especially at sunset. There are many guests, mostly from media people and I met my fellow blogger friends there too.

The event started with Ms. Ina Balasong (the managing director) who introduced us to the Oscar Blandi brand. And then there was also a demo of the Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo which four of the guests get to try the dry shampoo in turns. All four of the guests have different hair cuts and hair types. The bloggers Harumi and Frankie Wu also get to try the dry shampoo as the demo models.

The Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo is perfect for use on the go, for in-between washing, for a hair pick-me-up, or to revive your hair if they're getting lifeless while you have a big event in a few hours. In other words: it's great for hair emergencies situation ;p

Oscar Blandi has 3 variants of dry shampoo: the powder version, the spray version, and the new invisible volumizing spray version.

The Oscar Blandi Pronto is a dry shampoo with powder texture, designed to revive and refresh hair without the use of water.

The Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray is the spray version of the above, It absorbs excess oil and product build-up without weighing hair down and without stripping precious oils from the scalp.

Building on the popularity of the Pronto powder, Oscar then introduced a newer spray version which is the Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo, as you can see below. It sprays on clear, which means it's completely undetectable in the hair and is ideal for all hair color.

The dry shampoo can help absorbs excess oil and product build up. It also helps to strengthen and protects the hair as well as giving life back to the hair roots. The lemon verbena scent in it is very fresh and clean. It's lightly scented so nothing that would make you dizzy ;p

I intended to try the sample provided at the event but I simply forgot about it because I was having too much fun time with other bloggers (Cilla, Via, Franky, and Franky's friend Febri). So I went home realizing that I forgot to try the dry shampoo (especially the powder version) at the sampling table :(

But they gave us the Pronto Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo Spray to try at home so I'm glad I can try one of the dry shampoo version at last. I will make a full review on another post about the Invisible Volumizing Dry Shampoo that they gave me. So please stay tune if you're curious about it too ;)

Meanwhile, here's some photos from the event:
the new york themed cupcake, yummo!

The Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo price range is between IDR 225.000 to 265.000 (if I'm not mistaken). There are also other products from Oscar Blandi line such as shampoo, styling products, etc.

If you love the idea of dry shampoo then go ahead and try this Oscar Blandi version. Meanwhile, if you have tried one of their products before you could let us know by writing in the comment below this post. I would love to read your thoughts on Oscar Blandi products ;)

Anyway, here's the souvenir that each of us get:

8GB Toshiba USB & Oscar Blandi Newspaper ;p

And last but not least, my OOTD for the event:

Thank you so much Oscar Blandi for inviting me to the event. I really had a great time, I love the place and the food, and I met some new people there too, which is always great for networking ;) - I also love your new office!
