Viva The 60's

I Love The 60's!
It's my favorite fashion era. The Mod. The Biba-esque. Mary Quant. Twiggy.
If there's a time machine somewhere i would choose to go to the swinging London in the 60's... ^o^

Mod style is mostly about mini dresses and mini skirts, usually paired with opaque tights and flats (mary janes or boots). It's also about cute fitted cropped blazer and bright colors. Big hairs and boxy sweaters, Turtle Necks and Thick Black n White stripes pattern. Never too Casual or too dressy.

Here are some of my favorites :

The Accessories :

Pair mini dresses with opaque tights and ankle boots.
Pair the mini skirts with bold and unique belts like the above.
And don't forget to put on the cute coat.
Go out and celebrate the Mod era.

You could get all the above items and all other vintage 50's to 70's clothing at Modcloth, it's one of my fave stores!
I love almost everything that they have in store! It's a playground for all vintage lovers like me ^____^ And they're HAVING A SALE too!

  1. Ahh, I love the mod trend! Your outfit picks are great... I would wear every piece! And let's not forget Mod makeup... I've always adored the strong eyes but washed out lips look. It's a shame Twiggy no longer dresses that way... sigh.

  4. My god, 60's is my favorite era. I still can't decide if I prefer mod or phychedelic style1 Twiggy was great but my favorite 60's model is Pattie Boyd! You should look her up, she married George Harrison and Eric Clapton so she was pretty swinging!
    XOXOXO
