[MAKE-UP]: ULTRAFLESH Shine Box

11:59:00 PM

I was recently looking for a new highlighter because believe it or not, I only have one appropriate highlighter in my stash right now, and it is the Philosophy Amazing Grace Shimmering Face Powder which I got from Strawberrynet a while ago.

I'm a late bloomer when it comes to highlighter. I finally realized the power of highlighter during the last quarter of 2013 - which is when I decided to try out using highlighter not only on top of my cheeks but also on other strategic areas on my face. The result is very satisfying. And from then on I started to use highlighter more often. That's why I've been looking for new highlighters to try on, and this Ultraflesh Shinebox couldn't have come in a perfect time!

When I got this Ultraflesh Shinebox in the mail, I was excited and couldn't wait to try it because this has five types of shimmer and highlighters inside it! Yes, five! How cool, right?

First of all, I love anything practical. So this five piece set is right up my alley, because it contains five different shimmer and highlighters in one compact package. The packaging itself is not really bulky so it wouldn't take too much space in your bag. Inside it are five different piece of highlighters that can fit all your needs. First of all, here's the ingredient list for those of you who needs to know (you can click the photo below to enlarge):

Ultraflesh is a makeup line under the Fusion Beauty brand. You can get it at Strawberrynet, because that is where I got this UltraFlesh Shine Box from.

If you're a long time reader, then you might remember how I love Strawberrynet. I shopped there a few times before, and it still remains one of my favorite place to shop online because it always offer Free Shipping Worldwide, as well as many special discounts and bonuses.

Now back to the product... As I told you above, the product size is not too bulky. It's just slightly bigger than my small palm. The packaging is rather sturdy and quite practical. It has a rectangular shape, consisting the five different highlighters and shimmers - all stacked up inside.

As you can see above, the highlighters are stacked up nicely in their own compartments. There are two creams and one powder shimmer/highlighters, and also two liner shimmer pencils. According to the information I gathered, this Ultraflesh Shine Box consists of:
  • Top tier : All-Over-Enhancer
  • Second tier : Two All-Over-Highlighter
  • Third tier : Two All-Over-Shimmer

The overall shades in this box are gorgeous, with subtle shimmery particles which are not over-powering. I find that nothing in this box is too sparkly or overdone. All the shades have soft shimmers and nothing goes overboard. That's one reason to fall in love with this box ;)

Below are a more detailed shots of each highlighters/shimmers (arranged accordingly from top to bottom tier):

The All-Over-Enhancer have a neutral warm shimmer shade and it comes in a powder formula. You can use this as highlighters on top of your blush, or you can also use this as all-over enhancer for that dewy bronze goddess look to accentuate your tan.

The second tier consist of the two All-Over-Highlighters. The one on the left has a more bright / neutral shimmery cream shade, while the right one has a more of a pink-ish tone to it. Both of them has a cream formula which makes it perfect to blend into cream blushes or to highlight your eyeshadow.

The third tier houses the two All-Over-Shimmers which comes in a teeny tiny pen shape. The Secret Shimmer has a white shimmery shade, while the Nude Shimmer pen has a rose-gold shade. I really love these tiny pens because you can easily use this to line underneath your eyes to brighten them, and also to the inner corner of the eyes to make it even more sparkly.

More details on the colors:
 Color swatches:

As you can see above, the formula is pretty much fantastic. It doesn't go streaky, patchy, and there's no fall-out either. The powder, creams, and pens - all have fantastic formula and gorgeous shades which I think is pretty much universal. You can definitely use one or more of the colors for at least one area of your face.

Overall, I really love this Shine Box. This is definitely everything I need in a shimmer/highlighter. This box just have it all. I also love that all the highlighters and shimmers are pretty subtle which is what we want, because we don't want to look like a million watts lamp. The subtle shimmer also enable us to build up layers to achieve the look we want.

It is definitely my favorite item now, especially the shimmer pens because it's practical and tiny so I can packed them up and go. Well I actually use everything in this box because the shades are universal and pretty much neutral. Below is an example of when I wore it on my face. I use everything in the box for this look ;)

I used the All-Over-Enhancer (shade #1) on the middle of my eyelid over my neutral colored eyeshadow to enhance the color a bit more. I also sometimes use this on top of my bronzer and when I'm using an orange/coral blush.

I used the All-Over-Highlighter (shade #2) just below my brow bone for highlighting brows, and also on the bridge of my nose and a little bit on my forehead for all-over glowy look. I used (shade #3) as highlighter on top of my cheek when I'm using pink/red blushes.

Last but not least, I used the Nude Shimmer pen on my bottom waterline to make the eyes pop, and I used the Secret Shimmer pen in the inner corner of my eyes and also on my cupid's bow (right on top of my lips). See? You can wear them all! :D

I don't think this Shine Box is widely available anymore, but of course you can get it at Strawberrynet with Free Shipping. And while you're there, don't forget to check out all the other products that they have, I literally always have my own Strawberrynet wish list ;)

For Indonesian delivery, the shipping usually took about 10 days - 2 weeks (based on my experience). I have shopped from Strawberrynet a couple of times before, and I never had a bad experience with them. Everything always run smoothly and I always end up very satisfied with my shopping. So thank you for your great service, dear Strawberrynet!
