How To Wear: Tights and Leggings2:08:00 AM
If there is a fashion item that I mostly wear almost everyday, it's Leggings ;)
Leggings are one of my staples. I love wearing leggings because they are super comfortable and they keep me warm too. I have lots of leggings and most of them are solid black. But I also have some patterned and textured leggings in my collection.
I usually wear leggings with longer tops such as tunics or over-sized tee. My only rule on wearing basic leggings is: Do Not Wear Them As Pants.
That means: do not style them as if you would style your pants, such as wearing them with short / cropped tops. For me, leggings are not pants, so I always wear them with longer tops that falls below the hip or mid-thigh.
But nowadays leggings comes in a variety of forms, from denim leggings (my fave), to bootcut leggings, etc which looks more like pants compared to basic leggings. Sometimes they even have front and back pockets as well as fake zippers on the front, just like pants. So with these kind of leggings you may skip the rule above ;)
I got cold easily so that's why I prefer an outfit that would warm me from head to toe. Legging is one of my best choice other than jeans, but for a more formal occasions I also like to wear tights. Just like leggings, tights can keep us warm and cozy. We can wear tights with preppy dresses or short skirts and pumps for formal / feminine style, or we can also wear tights with shorts or knitted dresses and boots for a more casual approach. Both styles are perfect for the colder months.
And that's why leggings and tights are pretty important for a wardrobe especially if you live in a country with colder weather. There are a lot of places to look for good quality tights and leggings. One of the famous brands is Hue Tights and Leggings. If you visited their website you'll find an array of leggings and tights from the basics to the more modern styles such as corduroy leggings and sweater tights. All of them can be styled in many ways depending on your own personal style.
Now who's ready for winter?
