Event: The Body Shop "Beauty With Heart"

If you follow my twitter you must have read that I was chosen as one of The Body Shop BFF, yay! 

The Body Shop BFF is a new program from the local TBS, there are 12 chosen BFFs and each of us would receive and review TBS products for 6 months, so if you're always wondering about TBS products you might want to follow this blog and my twitter (links at the right sidebar) to know more about The Body Shop products.

So anyway, as one of the twelve BFFs I was invited last week to The Body Shop "Beauty With Heart" event at the XXI Lounge, Plaza Senayan. 

"Beauty With Heart" is the new TBS campaign, exclaiming that a true beauty is not only from the outside but also from within. The definition of the "Beauty With Heart" is: "Look Good, Feel Good and Do Good"

Look Good: as a result of the use of TBS products made from natural raw materials that delivers benefits for skin health and body.  
Feel Good: as a result of feeling comfortable using TBS products because these products originate from a brand that cares about human beings, the earth, and animal protection.  
Do Good: through engagement with the brand that encourages and take concrete action to help others through fair trade programs, commitment to animal protection, and a real effort to protect the Earth.

These three themes were incorporated into the event by dividing the area into three sections. The XXI Lounge where the event was held was the first place that we walked into. It was decorated very nicely and was divided into two areas to resemble the "Look Good" and "Feel Good" theme. 

Let's check out the Look Good area first:

In this area you can find an array of TBS products displayed on a long table in the middle of the room and you can try all of the products there! You can play with their skincare and makeup products, try everything that you've been wanting to try, and there's also a free consultation and free makeover too!

The second area is the Feel Good area:
In this area you can try their Fragrance, Body Care and Bath&Shower products. I finally get to smell every fragrance they have, and my favorite is still the White Musk ;p 

In this area you can also get free treatments such as mini hand treatments as you can see on the above photo.

There were also a Photo Booth where we could take our photographs taken with "a green earth":

And last but not least, the Do Good area:

We were ushered from the Look Good and Feel Good area to the Do Good area which is actually The Body Shop store. Here you can see their campaigns and values as well as noticing their new concept store.

This "Beauty With Heart" campaign launching is in conjunction with the introduction of TBS new concept store called "Pulse Store". The new Pulse store were designed like a boutique concept, with warm and welcoming atmosphere, and encouraging customers to try on different kinds of products as well as learning TBS values. The Pulse Store uses friendly materials such as certified wood and bamboo.

TBS also introduces Lily Cole (model and actress who is also an activist) as the International ambassador for The Body Shop.
