Hauls & Freebies : JULY 2011

Here are some new stuffs (purchased or freebies) that I accumulate for the month of July (and a few last days of June ;p). It all started when my mom found a trunk that contains some left-over clothes from her old clothes-selling days. My mom is the type who loves to do a little business here and there as a hobby, so at one time she and her friend had a little side job business selling clothes. This happened while I'm away in college, and I can't believe my mom didn't tell me back then that she has clothes to sell!

If I knew about it, I would've help her business by buying those clothes (in special price, of course ;p .. Wait, maybe that's why my mom didn't tell me, maybe she knew that I will ask for "special price" or even "free gift with purchase" or "buy 1 get 1" or probably some "free samples" hahaha LOL).

So anyway, this trunk is filled with some left-over clothes, some has a little stain so they couldn't sell it, and some others were just left-overs or clothes that didn't sell. Mom asked me if I want them so I sorted the pile before deciding (thanks Mom!). Most of them are a little bit updated but some of them are casual daily clothes that I thought I could still wear everyday. So here they are:

Pink Sonoma polo shirt, Purple tie-dye tank

Arithalia blue floral blouse, Chic Simple floral halter top

Black/Soft Brown tank

And then when I was meeting my friends for a dinner get-together, one of my friend gave me a token from another friend that went to London recently. It was a Marks&Spencer earrings set. It has pink studs and daisy earrings on it which is so pretty, thanks Melly!

Then when I went to my in law's house, my MIL gave me some scarves that she collected when she was living in New York some time ago. Well, we actually found a big stash of her scarves collection inside a wardrobe cabinet and she asked if I wanted any of them because she wouldn't use them that much anymore, so I sorted the pile and grab some scarves that I thought I could incorporate in some of my outfit (I don't know why I like collecting scarfs while in real life I rarely wear them, maybe I just love the random colors on them ;p). So, thanks Mom in Law!

And then the annual Jakarta Great Sale is here! I bought a sweater and a bow/lace blouse from the Mango sale, a basic white tee from Pull & Bear, a deep brown bag from ELLE, and a black formal clutch to wear to wedding parties from Matahari.

I also bought a brown woven skinny belt and an animal print feather-y slippers at Poins:

And lastly, after I receive some free clothes from mom's trunk, and then some free scarves from mom in law, and then the free earrings from one of my best friend, I couldn't believe my luck when I got another freebie! This one is a dress from my cousin who is having a garage sale and gave me this black ELLE dress for free! She bought it at the store but when she try it at home she just didn't like how it turned out, so you might say it's still new ;) Thanks mbak Cici!
