Skin MD Natural Review & Giveaway ! - CLOSED -

Everyday skin care routine should provide complete protection and hydration to the skin.
Now let's meet Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion.

Repeat, "Shielding Lotion" !

What is a shielding lotion, you asked?
A shielding lotion is a new concept in skin care that is far more effective as a dry skin care treatment than mere moisturizing lotions or protective creams. If you suffer from dry skin, you know that just using a moisturizing lotion doesn't solve the problem. And that is when you need this SkinMD Natural Shielding Lotion. A shielding lotion does much more than just treat dry skin – it’s a new kind of skin care product that makes a real difference to all skin types.
I received a bottle of Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion and 20 sachets of it to be reviewed. Although I don't have dry skin but I know that I can also use it daily because it doesn't feel oily in my skin. It sinks right in and no grease residue. But what's more important is because a shielding lotion basically forms a protective shield in the outer layer of skin to keep moisture-robbing irritants away and allow natural oils and moisture remain in the skin to keep it stay moist. That's what every skin needs!

SKIN BARRIER:
Every day our skin is exposed to chemicals, toxins and irritants which stripped away our skin's natural protective barrier. Daily use of soaps, shampoos, etc and some harsh weather condition could results with itchy red dry skin. Now this is where the shielding lotion comes in. By using it daily I'm protected from irritated skin because this shielding lotion will keep me protected even after hand washing! And it can be used on your face, body, hands and feet! You can even use it as a base for makeup as many cosmetic products contains toxins and chemicals. It doesn't clog pores and it's so light you'll feel like you don't have anything on. One product that fits for all body area means no need to buy separate lotions, it also means cheaper self-maintenance fee ^o^

CRACKED HEELS:
Eventhough this product can be used for all skin types because of it's moisture protection benefits but I just want to tell you guys that if you have really dry skin or even chapped dry skin then try this product!
I know this because my mother has dry skin, she also has cracked heels which she's been trying to fight off for quite some time now. She's been using this lotion for a week now and has been praising about the results she got. Her cracked heels are much much better and she can see that it starting to heal and that she finally has some hopes to say goodbye to her cracked heels.

SKIN PROBLEMS:
My dad has some skin problem, probably eczema or some kind of psoriasis (i don't know, he never checked it to the doctor). When I read in the brochure that this lotion can also help heals eczema, psoriasis and similar skin problems then I told my mom to use it on my dad too. And now, we can see a significant difference on his skin! It really reduces the redness and his skin condition is really improving to a better state now.
So we have really high hopes for this magic lotion. It really has many benefits to our skin. This is a great quality product, even recommended by dermatologists! It's hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, Paraben free, Fragrance and colorant free plus no animal testing and doesn't contain animal products!

And now to the Giveaway!
Skin MD has offered me to give one full bottle of their shielding lotion to one of T.T.T's lucky readers so that you could also feel the benefit of this new concept of shielding lotion ^__^

The fundamental difference between Shielding Lotions and traditional skin care lotions is that Shielding Lotions enhance the skin's own natural protective abilities by turning the outer layer of skin into what could be described as a hydrating invisible shield making them many times more effective than mere protective lotions and moisturizing creams

  5. Skin MD has been through skin trials and in one in particular:

Skin MD Natural did not produce any reaction or sensitivity during the entire trial period on any of the 50 women tested. These clinical trials gives Skin MD Natural the highest hypoallergenic and "safe use" rating.

  6. Interesting. I'm reading "The Green Beauty Guide" right now, so this is a perfect complement!

I learned: "Shielding lotions not only protect the skin's barrier but they restore the moisture itself, so that your skin does not become addicted on the moisture and ultimately cures the dry skin." The part about your skin becoming ADDICTED totally got me!

  14. I read that a shielding lotion is based on a new technology that blends moisturizers with a light silicone material that is like a liquid shield that bonds with the surface of your skin.

  20. I learned: "Harsh weather conditions in both summer and winter can cause dehydration," explains Dr. Peter Helton, a board certified dermatologist in Newport Beach, CA. "Constant washing of the hands, exposure to chemicals and irritants in the environment are other major causes. Once the natural protective shield on the skin is destroyed you are open to dry skin problems and irritation of the skin.
