[2018] June - July EMPTIES

7:49:00 PM

My last Empties post was for the month of March, so I skipped April and May. Mostly it's because I don't have time to write blog posts, and probably also because there weren't many products that I finished during those two months, and the 1-2 products that I finished weren't special and not worth mentioning, so I skipped it altogether.

Now let's skip forward to the last two months worth of finished products. I combined June and July empties because the truth is I forgot to put up June empties post, LOL. Sorry, but I'm a lazy blogger please forgive me.. (^0^)

So anyhoo, let's go straight to the post!

Kangen Water Strong Acid Spray
EOS Lipbalm Sphere
Banila Co Clean It Zero
Hadalabo Makeup Remover / Face Wash
Etude House Kissable Lip Smooth Care

Banila Co Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm
This was my first cleansing balm and I loved it. I love using cleansing balm because of this. Because it's so practical to carry on your travel bag, it's TSA approved (because it's not liquid), and it lift off your makeup easily. You can also wipe this off with wet tissue if you don't have water near you. Banila Co has a couple variants of cleansing balms and I believe this pink one is for combination/oily skin. I love the formula and it comes in a big tub too! It lifts off most makeup but still need a separate eye makeup remover to lift off heavy duty liner and mascara.

Hadalabo AHA + BHA Makeup Remover / Face Wash
This was my travel face wash and I finally finished it. I love the practical smaller tube that makes it easy to carry around my travel bag. And I love the formula too. It has peeling properties while it cleanses and lift off makeup residue, oil, and dirt from your face. I don't use this for solely removing my makeup though, because heavier makeup won't be washed away just with this one. So I use this as my second cleansing. After I remove my makeup with a cleansing balm / cleansing oil, I do a second cleanse with this Hadalabo to make sure I lift off all makeup residue left.

Eos Lip Balm in Honeysuckle Honeydew
If you follow my blog and read my empties posts you might already picked up my love for Eos lipbalm. I used to have lots of 'em and now I finished mostly all of them so I only had a couple of Eos lipbalms left in my stock drawer. Anyway, this Honeysuckle Honeydew variant is one of my fave. They are easy to bring along in your bag too :)

> Replacement : Still have one of these left, but right now I'm using up my Nuxe Reve De Miel

Etude House Kissable Lip Smooth Care
I am so glad I finally finished this one up! This has been standing too long in my bathroom sink and although I did used it all the time but it really took a long time to finish. It is a lip scrub and I think there's nothing special about it, I even got so bored using it because it took me a really long time to finish it.
> I think it's not available anymore
> Replacement : Currently don't use any lip scrub right now

Kangen Water Strong Acid Spray
This is an old spray from Kangen Water. I used to use up many bottles of these as skin sprays because these were cheap ;) I especially use this as a treatment spray for any skin ailments or to make any wounds heal faster. It really works! I didn't use this on my face though. And I think this was the last bottle left in my stock drawer.

Bio Essence Snail Secretion Repair Mask
My Beauty Diary Aloe Vera Mask

Bio Essence Snail Secretion Repair Mask
I experienced a slight sting on my problem areas (acne) when I used this sheetmask, but only for a few seconds. After that everything felt normal. It is a cooling mask and doesn't have a lot of extra essence in it, so it's not dripping wet. The shape is easy to adjust. I left it on for half hour and massage the extra essence to my skin. This mask made my skin feels supple, moist, and firm. It helps calmed down my acne too.

My Beauty Diary Aloe Vera Mask
This one has lots of essence. But there was a little dripping problem. Ugh, I hate dripping sheet masks. The shape has a pretty small surface but still fit my small Asian face. It felt a little bit cooling and calming on skin (but I think almost all sheet masks out there have this quality). So nothing really special from this one except that it helps moisture my skin and calms the problem area down a little bit.

Floral Dream Sheer Magnolia Body Wash
Watsons Natural Marula Oil Body Scrub
Bali Alus Goat Milk Natural Soap

Floral Dream Sheer Magnolia Body Wash
This was my shower gel that I keep in my parents house. I recently finished this big bottle of shower gel and I liked it! Everybody in the house who tried this also loved it. The scent is oh-so-nice, a combination of honey, shea butter, and magnolia. So lovely!
> Recommended & Will Repurchase
> Replacement : Les Tentations Mimosa Water Body Wash

Watsons Natural Marula Oil Body Scrub
This one doesn't have a particular scent, in fact I don't think it has any scent at all. The formula is infused with certified organic marula oil and mafura butter for intense protection and repairing as well as nourishing properties. The texture is nice enough for scrubbing. Not too harsh but not too soft either. The scrub has little particles in it that makes scrubbing your skin feels real, LOL. I just love scrubby texture instead of smooth formula in a scrub. It makes you feel really scrubbing your skin off :)
> Recommended for daily scrubbing
> Replacement : Spa Essentia White Glow Body Scrub

Bali Alus Goat Milk Natural Soap
This is a natural soap made of yoghurt, goat milk, and noni fruit extracts. The packaging says that it can help brighten the skin especially those darker areas such as neck, armpits, elbows, and knees. It has a subtle scent, characteristic of a natural soap. I love natural soap because they are less abrasive for the skin and kinder to the environment too. Although I didn't notice the brightening effect on darker skin immediately but it does smooths my skin.

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi
Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Stick

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi
My favorite NYX SMLC ! I always love NYX SMLC for matte lipstick because their formula are just great. They don't irritate lips, don't smudge easily, and don't dry out the lips too. And I love the matte texture they give to the lips. This particular shade is one of my fave from their range, it's a beautiful "your lips but better" nude shade for my skin tone.
> Recommended & Will Repurchase
> Replacement : Shu Uemura Rouge Unlimited in Dark Beige

Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Stick
This was my travel bb cream. I used these a lot for traveling and stay-overs, and I used to have two of them. They are so practical for everyday use, especially if I was in a hurry or don't want to use heavy makeup. This is so perfect for combination skin. They are in powder formula so they absorbs super fast and you don't have to wait for them to sink in your skin. But I don't think they have it anymore because it is an old product. I just happened to still have an old stock in my vanity.
> Recommended but I don't think it's available anymore
> Replacement : Skin Aqua Perfect Matte BB Cream

Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Edp (vial)
The Body Shop White Musk EDT

Dolce & Gabbana Dolce EDP (vial)
I will make a more detailed review in bahasa on my other blog (soon to launch!), but in short, I don't really fancy this one as it has almost zero sillage and zero longevity on me.
> Not Recommended, but you might try it first because different person reacts to different perfume

The Body Shop White Musk EDT
This used to be my signature scent years ago, but ever since I delved into perfume world I started to wear different kinds of perfumes and don't have a signature perfume anymore. Nowadays I prefer to wear perfume based on mood and occasion or weather. But I still love this though! I also already review this in english. You can read the review here >> The Body Shop White Musk.

> Replacement : Still has a couple bottles of these in my stock :)

------------------------------------

Well overall, those are the products I managed to finish during June and July. I managed to finish 14 full size products + 1 sample size perfume vial, so in total = 15 products. That's not too bad, considering they are all full-sized ones that are harder to finish.

I just took a peek inside my empties bin for this month and I already got a few of them there, so hopefully I can feature more finished products by the end of this month :)
