Taman Sari Royal Heritage is one of my favorite local Indonesian brand. The name itself is a popular local brand known for its good quality and professional spa service. I have tried their spa on my honeymoon a couple of years ago and it was splendid. I always think that their products are as great as their spa service, and that's why I love trying the many range of their products that are easily available at big supermarket here.

My favorite series from the many range they have is the Cocoa series. I love cocoa scent as long as it's not sickening sweet, and the Cocoa series from Taman Sari Royal Heritage is not sickeningly sweet at all. In fact, it is like a bittery-sweet chocolate scent that is not overly strong which is exactly what I want.

First of all, I love their packaging which looks professional and very "exotic spa-like" (ehm, is that even a word?). I first tried their Body Shower and then quickly fell in love with it. So after trying the body shower I decided to also get the Body Scrub and then the Body Lotion to complete the range. I am currently into layering the same scent so I always use the whole complete range every time I want to indulge myself or want to smell like chocolate ;p

As I mentioned a few times in this blog previously, compared to The Body Shop Chocomania series I'd prefer the Cocoa series from Taman Sari Royal Heritage Spa instead because the scent is closer to the natural scent of sweet cocoa. I find the TBS Chocomania's scent is too sweet and too artificial for my liking.

On the above photo, from left to right is the Taman Sari Royal Heritage Body Shower which has a clear thick liquid form, the Body Scrub which has a buttery soft formula that would melt instantly while giving you a good scrub, and the Body Lotion which is in a white soft lotion that absorbs very well (I just wish the body lotion would have a brown color instead of white to represent the cocoa ;p). 

So far, I'm really enjoying the whole range of this Cocoa series. Although the shower gel feels like it leaves a little bit of that slippery feeling after you wash off, but it doesn't annoy me too much. The scrub is fantastic and if you like gritty scrub then I recommend you to try this. Lastly, the body lotion does not leave any residue and using all three of them consecutively makes the scent lasts longer.

Definitely one of my favorite layered scents especially for those colder nights ;p
