This post should've been up on January 1st but I don't know what happened, it didn't go up like it was scheduled, so today I published it manually.

The year 2010 has passed and now let's embrace a new year ahead of us! I have shared my stories of my 2010 on the previous post and so as i promised...today will be about the overall review or summary of my 2010 outfit project. For those of you who didn't know, I started a personal project of trying not to wear the same outfit in a whole year during 2010. It's just a personal project that I did out of fun, but I also intend to do it because I wanna see what my outfit personalities are, how far is my mix n match skill?, and which one of my clothes that I never wear anymore and which ones are a staple in my wardrobe. With that in mind, I will re-arrange my closet, throw away clothes that I never worn or never had the urge to wear it, and shop for more clothes that are proven to be a staple in my closet.

Looking back at my outfit journals in Chictopia, Weardrobe and Flickr I finally can see that there are some items which I wore and mixed over and over again, these items are what I considered as staples. During 2010, the item that I wore most often is my black leggings and skinny jeans but those didn't count because they are a must-have basics. Other clothing items that I wore most on 2010 were:

You can see from the list above that an LBD (little black dress) is a must-have on my closet (along with black leggings and skinny jeans). If you like, you can see how I mixed n matched my LBD here.

I also learned that cardigans are a staple for my closet because I wear it often. What kinda surprise me is how I wore my black tubedress more than other dresses in my closet. I found that tube dress are easy to mix n match too; you can wear a tee or a blouse either underneath it or over it, you can also add cardigans / vests / jackets over it -> buttoned or unbuttoned, belted or un-belted :)

Anyway, i was also surprised that I wore my dark pink cardigan more often than my black ones (because i practically think that black is more versatile than pink, but apparently pink can be versatile too ;p).
